The clam chowder fries were really good. Very generous portions and lots and lots of cheese! It's definitely creamy and heavy.

Ordered the Shrimp Roast and the Chicken & Sausage Roast. The soups themselves tasted very good. The portions of shirmp and sausage in each was a good amount. The sausages were diced cubes which was easy to eat and the shrimp were medium sized. The spice has a moderate kick, not enough to become uncomfortable, more like an after kick with each bite. Paired with a side of rice to consume tastes great.

Good food, bizarre ambiance.

Imagine eating from takeout containers in an essentially bare, huge room. So, the feel was somewhat akin to taking a meal break at a construction zone. With a surly but very competent waiter. It's apparently been there for awhile, so... *confused*

Either way, worth checking out. I had the étouffée, which was good but needed more filé IMO, and the chowder, which was excellent. My friend had the "pan roast" (idk what protein), which was his usual so he enjoyed it.

4 stars, only because of the weirdness.

Their house pan roast would be my recommendation. Top it of with the level of spicy from 1-10, 3 works the best. It’s mild and delicious. Recommend to anyone who loves Cajun pan roast, this is the place you don’t want to miss out. It’s legit!

The house pan roast is to die for - rich, creamy and seafood-y deliciousness!! This location beats the Santa Ana location in terms of quality, for sure (SA’s pan roast was watery the last time we went). The only thing missing in today’s pan roast was lobster, which is typically the house pan roast version.

Staff was nice and moved as quickly as possible. The manager even came out to each table several times to demonstrate optimal and intimate service.

The only ding I can think of are the various bulk inventory boxes hanging out in plain view of the customers in the dining areas. Like piled-high boxes giant mayonnaise tubs, peanut butter tubs, napkins, etc. it looked haphazard, and it didn’t feel good visualizing my meal from a box.

The waitress was a hot mess. She didn't even have a uniform on and she didn't know what was in the menu, she was nice but nice only goes so far. Half the stuff we ordered wasn't available or they don't serve it. The lemonade was watery, the iced tea was too sweet (like it took all the sugar from the lemonade) the actual food wasnt that bad. I'd go back and request a different waitress.

The food was good, but the service was terrible. Our server kept on forgetting to get us our water and utensils. Also, completely ignoring my friends 3 year old kid. Didn't bring him any water or table sitting. He's human too and needs to eat. I think she expected to stare at us while we eat. Because of that I deducted a star. On a another note, the pan roast is highly recommend. I do not recommend getting the jambalaya, I am unsure on how to describe it,but it tasted burnt.

Ordered almost everything on the menu. The food are great. Not exactly the same as what we had in Louisiana, but pretty good. Beignets are just ok. Dough didn't rise enough. Definitely recommend the fresh oysters, devil okra and bacon wrapped shrimps.

The food was good. Service... Not so much. We went on Valentine's day and with 8 to 10 full tables in the restaurant and 10 or so more open it took us 15 mins to get seated. There was no hostess and we didn't get seated until Ritter himself came to seat us. The guy seemed stressed and was trying his best, so I gave him a break. The other staff though ignored me at least a few times when I flagged him down to ask for stuff. Wish I saw his name so I could post-it here. Pan roast was good as well as the Gumbo. Skip the fried okra. The food was good so I'll be back but I hope their service is better next time.

Our waitress was very nice but we waited almost an hour for our Entrees. The interior is so noisy that we can't even hear ourselves. The food was alright, a tad more salty than it should be. My grandmother's food got mixed and instead of normal soup, hers was spicy. It's a little expensive here but they do serve large amounts. This will be a one time dining experience for my family and I.
