Great little hike, strenuous enough if you go up and down repeatedly, a short drive from downtown or South Bay. You'll be rewarded with a 360° view of Los Angeles including downtown and the Hollywood sign at the top.

Hummm…a “view”… Yes but…this one you can see the row of office bldgs on Wilshire, the Hollywood Sign (where I used to live), the downtown skyline (the “good side”)…AND, the Ocean… What did He just say? What view do You know of that can top that?? Bet You DONT…. Did I fail to mention…forgive me…I biked up to the top and well…I’m a strong rider…and I tapped out at a point deciding to “check out the view”…hehe. I can go on…as a “guy”…there were more beautiful girls, than the ration of men to women would suggest, AND…there’s a whole Nother Hill…on the other side! Yes he’s serious. On the other side there’s a collection of baseball and soccer fields, skateboard park and even a doggy park… If you’re gonna go out and work out for the day, looking for a place, I challenge you to beat this spot…

The stairs are a killer!! But so worth it. Great workout, sunshine, fresh air and a great workout. Bonus: the incredible view as you ascend to the top. You feel victorious up there. Amazing!!

Ideal for a short burst hike followed by a gentle descent. Also you could plan a daily work out here. There are 296 steps. A lot of them are much higher than your average stair. So you could take a sweat if you want to.

Looking for a local place to get out and enjoy a challenging walk. This is the place. The vibe here is great. The people are nice and greet you as you walk by. Not a lot of dogs, but there are dogs but they are on a leash. Great place for family walks! Enjoy your walk or workout! ????

I love the Scenic Oberlook at Baldwin Hills. The stairs are a minster. They are very high step.i didn't go to the top today but have in the past. The park suppose to close at 6pm however people are out there late at night walking up those steps in pitch dark. Most use cell phone lights. So when you go up you must come down. Its not that easy especially if you have bad knees, so beware.

This place was really fun. It was a short and sweet easy hike. The only part that was more strenuous was the stairs. You don’t have to take the stairs though, you can hike up the side roads made for just pedestrian traffic. I can see there are a lot of people who go here and have group workouts which seems really cool. Loved it and the views were nice at the top. Also, there were a ton of juice and food trucks at the entrance so that was nice to see a refreshing end to our hike.
