Great neighborhood bar, def my new go to spot. Happy hour deals are too good to be true! Cocktails are punchy, but just the right amount, made well, and for hh deals, you wouldn't expect that. Loved the dark room, filled with red lights, random artifacts, gave off a speakeasy/dive bar as people say. To top it off they played a mix of hip hop, rap, oldies, rock, disco, 80s, not what you expect when you walk in, but I loved it!

This bar runs a scam where they pretend you didn't give them your credit card, charge you for several drinks, then claim you never game them your credit card. It's a scam they've been running more commonly recently. Beware!

I have to say that I didn't like the concept of this place (limited producers, retail-meets-wine-bar) before I even went in, but I was willing to give it a try when I was pressed for time and needed an emergency bottle of wine for a party.

Great selection of wines, but be prepared to throw down some serious cash. Most glasses are $13-15, but can go up to $30. It's easy to forget how much you're spending since they give you a special "Pattern Bar" when you walk in the door. It's pretty much a mobile tab and you're smacked in the face with reality once you head upstairs to close out.

Well you pay for the ambiance and this is a classy place. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is all 1st rate. Very warm tones, comfortable seating and seductive lighting. It can get loud but not that obnoxious loud where you want to throttle someone in their sleep. We're talking the kind of loud that will make your date wanna lean in a little closer to you and have that one-on-one convo while the buzz of the crowd sounds in the background.

Great music, great vibes. Didn't get a chance to try the food or drinks cuz we're just stopping by for the first time. But definitely will indulge next time.

Awesome vibe! Need more security outside the bar due to outside traffic on 9th St or move to a more secure location. All and all the bar was awesome and banging sound system!

My partner and I stopped in for a drink around 8pm after an early show at Orpheum. It was hard not to notice the shoddy construction/decor/fixtures everywhere. It looked like they need to just take a day to give a handy-person and cleaner a full pot o' coffee and just go to town giving the place some much needed attention. Drinks were so-so. The person who waited on us was friendly and did a fine job, but you could tell the rest of the crew were waiting for the place to transition into night and DJ to get there for the crowds to start showing up and giving them something to do. So in the meantime there was loud socializing of staff at and around the bar. Seems like more of a low-scale nightclub vibe where folks just come to get drunk and dance and don't care about all the broken and disheveled things. I know this comes across at a negative review, but we enjoyed our moment there. I think I was just on a different vibe and this place definitely serves its purpose for the party scene.

Great bar in dtla. Very classy and good music. I think they have some of the best cocktails in L.A. Recommend the McQueen and their banana beer is a must try!
