This place reminds me of The Godfather movie. It has a similar feel. Even the staff act like you are in an Italian-American environment. The food is amazing and you get a lot for what you pay.

Half dry but ok food, aggressive owner, waiters tossing menus/bread on the tables (but some waiters were sweet/helpful), and then in the end they refused to split the bill for 20 people. It was fun as an experience and we have a crazy story to tell, but never again ????

Hey this place is an old school LA institution. solid bar drinks. great service. Dana is one of the bartenders there and Bonnie is one of the servers and they are always really great.

Be sure to check the schedule because they close early on the weeknights.

Intimate, dimmed lounge with fun bar bites - great for sharing! Cocktails were fantastic and service was good. Lovely place to soak in old Holywood vibes

Here’s to you Marty and Elayne!
The LA you built was the best version the city has ever had. It’s the character you played a major role in when I think of LA as my “home town”.

Lofty rambles create the sense of limited seating without completely disguising a commodious dining room, and dim lighting over stark contrasts creates an intimacy of islands. The decor is that of another era without using overstatement to awe the untrained eye.

Calamari was par for the course, though the marinara was noteworthy.

Cauliflower stuffed bell peppers were seared without damaging the crisp texture, as was the mozzarella browned but not burnt. The cauliflower served as a texture appropriate meat substitute, such that I did not feel as if I were eating food other than traditional Italian. Did I mention that the marinara is amazing?

Came in for Jazz night. I've been here a few times before and it's been wonderful every time. Its like stepping back in time. I prefer a Bourbon on the rocks myself but the bar is well stocked with things anyone would enjoy. They have a really cute vintage cash register that's still in use that I found to be a nice touch. This was the busiest I've ever seen the bar and the atmosphere was amazing. I would definitely love to come back.

The Dresden was great. Had the rainbow trout that so delicious with its buttery flavor that had my mouth just savoring each bite i had until i got to the very last bit. Dining area was amazing. Whole place is just like a Devine relic that has a old but modern twist that's so captivating to one's eye. Talk about a blast from the past! Definitely need to come if you never have been to the Dresden. Next i have to try to eat over by the bar area.

Absolutely love this place! I was there last night for the first time. Definitely a good spot to sit at the bar and have some drinks. They also have food which I didn't try. They have a dinning area in the back. Also live music on Wednesday nights! Parking in the rear. The bartenders are polite and quick.
