I haven't been back to press club in over 2 years...oh how it has changed. They definitely made the place a bit more trendy. Before it was mainly focused into bringing Napa/Sonoma based brands into the city to help spread the word, but now they've changed their concept. They now offer beer as well as wine. They're definitely catering to a more diverse crowd than the wine-only folks. They also brought in a live DJ on the weekends to inject the youthfulness that they've been missing out on. Overall a good adaptation to the ever changing climate...they should be around for another 2 years. Wine selection = so, so. The food = decent. The crowd = definitely a lot more fun than a bunch of old dudes spitting out wine into a bucket.

I've gone here for work events several times. It's a great place to go have a nice sample of wine and hang out.

I come here for two reasons. Alfred and Midos amazing packing and Pearls excellent service. If she is not working. I tend to not come. She works days and she works a full room. Never forgets your flavour or your favourite drinks food etc. Very friendly. The nights are fun here but service needs improvement and charcoal service is slow if Mido and Alfred are not working. Still worth it though

I'm in a band and this is one of my favorite places to play. The sound is amazing, service is incredible, and the people there are so friendly. It's the best place in Pomona if you're just stopping by for a drink, to check out a show, or to play a show, I highly recommend.

Very cool open bar with a unique, inviting decor. This place was pretty packed on a Tuesday night and the bartender was busy because it was only him working there. We had a group of four so we ordered a lot of different drinks including After the Gold Rush, Boulevard and Jungle Bird. The consensus favorite was the gimlet though. Great spot to grab a cocktail with a small group of friends.

A great place I'll go to often! One of my favorites in Los Angeles. Service was great from two beautiful ladies and a handsome wise gentleman bartender. I drank the Ebullition coffee stout which was a very good beer. The Burger was cooked perfectly and had wonderful toppings.

We were actually staying in the hotel here and stopped by both nights we were there. The patio is covered in adverse weather, but still nice and inviting, and you can smoke out there. They have a selection of cigars available to buy inside too if that's your thing.

The prices are decent for Beverley Hills, beer was under $10 dollars, and drinks were good. We were in travel clothes (nice jeans and a sweater) both nights, and we weren't looked down upon, even though I felt severely underdressed. This is great for people watching!! Occasionally you might catch a star or 2 on the weekends.

They have a great selection of food as well. Sliders, pizza, sushi, sandwiches, a little bit of everything. They're open late til around 3am too. Food under $30. Just a nice relaxed atmosphere all the way around, and super helpful non pretentious staff.

Shandy's is my absolute favorite bar. Completely unpretentious, a great mix of people and reasonably priced drinks. If you really want to experience Shandy's at it's finest be sure to go on a weekday as the weekends are always crowded.Everyone here is friendly, including the bartenders. My one and only gripe about Shandy's would be the amount of people that just HAVE to play "Bela Lugosi's Dead" by Bauhaus over and over and over. Sure, it's the only Bauhaus song you've ever heard but it's the worst song to play at a bar. So please, stay away from the Bauhaus album in the jukebox, the regulars will thank you.
