New to the neighborhood, this place is clean, cozy and the coffee is delicious. The staff are friendly and kind.
They make their own almond milk in house and the breakfast food is freshly made in their small little kitchen in the back. Delicious. Great way to spend a quiet morning inside or take it to go on your way to work. There is a small outside seating area at the front which can get a bit loud with the Sunset road traffic but if that’s too loud for you, you can sit inside. Lots of space.

What's better than a cup of coffee? A cocktail! At Blackwood Coffee Bar, they're mixing it up with non-alcoholic drinks like the sparkling espresso and Latin cold brew. A great drink starts with good ingredients so I was relieved I found this coffee shop! This café has everything from sparkling espressos to Latin cold brews, so there will be something for everyone!

The interior is cozy and spacious that would appeal to someone coming by for a quick cup of coffee or would like to find a place to relax or work on your computer with a chill vibe. The coffee is great too, of course!

Overpriced and underwhelming. For an influencer, it might be good spot for ambiance. For a regular coffee goer who wanted to support a small business, I was disappointed to pay $7 for a cold brew that tasted both burnt and acidic. For options to flavor the cold brew, I was given 2 options of syrups only (though there are reviews of unique flavors from previous customers). Very basic menu, too bad the quality wasn't there. The sign at the door listing all underrepresented communities as "accepted people" should've been the give away of the pretention I was going to experience. Wouldn't recommend unless you're looking for a place to work on your laptop.

They can make good drinks but oh boy, they come at a high price. No kidding! An oat latte is a whooping $6.50 without tip. If you decide to try one, visit the one on Santa Monica Blvd - the crew there is much friendlier and nicer.

This place should have 5 stars! Amazing food! I ordered Postmates and since I moved to California it’s one of my favorite food spots. I haven’t tried the coffee. But, I’m sure it’s fantastic! Thanks Blackwood. Love the name btw!

I'm not a particular coffee enthusiast, but this coffee shop was really good. I was surprised at the taste of the coffee and the amount that it cost. It was delicious and the environment was clean. Definitely recommend trying this shop when you have a chance.

A really cute vibe inside. The vanilla bean latte was perfection. The tiled walls and artwork were added touches of a warm and stylishly designed coffee shop. I especially enjoyed the support for small business including displays of bilingual children's books and merch by authors of color.

Loved this coffee shop! They had a number of unique and tasty coffee drink options as well as non coffee. I got an iced coffee beverage that had cashew horchata and chocolate bitters and it was so good! My husband got a drink called morning wood that involved cold brew, cinnamon, and toasted pecan that was also super good. Both still tasted like coffee and were not too sweet which I feel is ver hard to find! I’ve paid for plenty of expensive coffees that were mediocre or just fine but these I actually felt were worth it lol. Wish we had one where I lived.

The White Cheddar Soft Scramble was delicious and the Cold Brew was yummy! ???? They are super friendly and the coffee shop has a cool and modern vibe! And they offer a great variety of drinks and food. I can’t wait to try more items in their menu. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this place!
