Overall Rating

Some of the drinks were good but definitely paying extra for the experience. P.S. do not get the notorious black unless you’re into very “interesting” tasting things (A.k.a it was not very great). I would recommend getting sorcerers tears!

We discovered the place on our recent trip to DTLA. We ordered berry lemonade, morning glory muffin and a vegan sandwich. Lemonade and the sandwich were delicious. The cafe had limited seating but the decor was harry Potter theme based which was pretty cool.

This is my first time at Nimbus Cafe.
The venue itself is asthetically pleasing to the eye. As a Harry Potter fan, I loved it. We had the Notorious Black Latte Ice (6/10). Seems to taste more like the milk they put in more than anything. We also had the Dragons Breathe(8/10). It was good but too sour. Witches Cold Brew (7/10). Just coffee that you can get anywhere else. A bit too pricey for the drinks. It was a good first try and good experience. Staff is great and I got to meet the owners.

Very atmospheric and beautiful place. Coffee and pastries were very good as well.
Totally recommend. Especially if you are blogger then you can do great pictures for your profile.

An absolutely wonderful experience, not to be missed!

The whole menu is full of fun and playful offerings. The amount of thought and creativity makes the entire visit such a great experience. I can’t emphasize enough that this is a destination in enough itself.

The themed drinks are incredible, we had the “Poison Apple Cider” which comes with a hand scooped toasted marshmallow; the “Mischief Macarooned” latte, topped with a cute pink meringue and sparkles; and the Notorious Black coffee with added charcoal and rosemary.

That last one was a really fun experience it has a kind of roasted taste the rosemary is definitely there so make sure that you like rosemary. I’ve never had anything like that before, personally I loved the charcoal it’s good for your body!

The atmosphere is absolutely charming and there is so much detail to take in, such a fun place to get your coffee. Definitely not one to miss. I would definitely take friends or harry potter obsessed kids here, it’s such a treat.

Ohhh my gawwddd. If you love coffee with some witchcraft abs wizardry, you will love this place!

I was working at our corporate office abs decided to walk around and check out a nearby coffee shop. Little did I know, I was walking into a magical realm of deliciousness snacks and drinks like mandrake matcha, dragons breath, sorcerers tears and cold brew cauldron.

I got the mischief macaroon latte and it was delicious.

The entire aesthetic was so well thought out and creative! You could tell that they really wanted to create a unique experience for their customers.

The employees were so kind, helpful and attentive.

I am so happy I found this place and plan to visit every time I’m at corporate.

Had the avocado toast and a latte. Their menu is creative and matches themes from the Harry Potter books. I love the decor and the staff was delightful. I'd say the whole experience was magical.

I really wanted to like this place (it was recommended) but I cannot recommend it myself.

When you first walk in it's a bit confusing where to order and staff has to direct you to the side isle. But they don't have a clear accessible menu. You have to scan a QR code. And if that doesn't work you must find them online (while in store) to look up their menu. But the menu online didn't show prices, unless you tap the top "order now" button...but not the bottom "order now" button...that just took you to an error page.

Confusing, right?

And I don't know if the staff were having a bad day that day, but they rushed us and answered our questions as if we were annoying to them.

I have to say the theme is really cool and they go all out with it, but the drink I had was too sweet to finish. It was "premade mix" and couldn't be customized. I bought the $8 macaroon latte.

I definitely expected more from this experience.

Such a cool experience even though the inside wasn’t available. The drinks are so cool and tasty with interesting pairings that do NOT disappoint! Expand your horizon!!! It’s truly an experience!!! I never thought I’d enjoy lemonade and espresso… but here we are! And the donut—- OH MY GAWD!This chocolate donut was rich, and moist, and the perfect consistency. Black people understanding the assignment. Meeting quality, with customer service at the highest level and creativity that only we possess. Pure. MAGIC. (Pun intended!)
