Honestly, I mostly just drank straight whiskey over the course of the evening so I can’t give much of a review of Jason’s quality as a bartender. However, he gave one hell of a recommendation for post drinking dim sum. That I shall remain eternally grateful.

Very unassuming/hole in the wall cafe in plaza above chinatown metro and let me tell you, the food was absolutely ridiculous. Coffee was amazing. Chips & Guac for $2, what?! Wasn’t even sure we were at the right place at first. We had the chilaquiles burrito and the chorizo brekkie (burrito) and OMG effin dank in the best way, layered complex flavors and textures, I mean both would easily rank in the top 5 breakfast burritos in LA, and while my sampling my not be exhaustive, it certainly has been extensive. My only regret is that I’m only finding this gem now! Thank you!!

You enter at street level and you get a card to charge your expenses to. Then proceed downstairs to the nice classy lounge area. You can sit down and be served a delicious selection of wines and snacks. What could be better? When I was there they has a special wine/cupcake pairing. Press Club is nice place to spend your Friday evenings.

The show I went to see was great. It was a burlesque show, put on by the Damn Deville's. The only bones I have to pick are with the advertising. Most people, myself included, were under the impression that it was free entry, if there before 930pm, because the advertisement said so. They charged 30 bucks a head, anyway. Not cool. The bar itself is excellent. Great atmosphere, small crowd, and superb entertainment.

Place was adorably decorated. Music was great. Drinks absolutely sucked. Dress.code super casual. Good place to chill and people watch. Just order something on the rocks and don't expect be be a chatty cathy.

Drinks are expensive!
My jungle bird cocktail was so small and tasted like no alcohol was in there. Perhaps there was too much pineapple juice and not enough alcohol. Which was disappointing.

The DJ played okay music.
Could be better.

Friday night Burlesque was AMAZING!
interior decorating is BEAUTIFUL!

Other than that, I wish the cocktails were better.
Tried my friend's drinks too and they were okay.

Cozy, comfy. Small for a bar but it had a wonderful atmosphere with a great bartending staff. The speakeasy theme is something you don't see everyday. Definitely give this spot a go.

Nice little hole in the wall bar where you have to walk through a refrigerator door to enter. The interior is well done with nice ambience and decor. My only gripe about this place is that the male bartender was SLOWWWWWW.... I wasn't the only one who felt that way, the two patrons to the left and to the right of me were also complaining as the bartender was consistently texting on his phone and even took a phone call while keeping us waiting. Otherwise, it's a cool spot and I'll stop by again with hopes that they have a different bartender.

Decor was cute, drinks were strong, and atmosphere was lively on a Sat night. Be aware that there is a $10 cover (not sure if Sat only or when). Hard to miss the entrance since there were bouncers and a little line outside. I'll have to come back again to try the coffee or grab cocktails when it's a little quieter.
