After finally reopening following the pandemic lockdown, The performances have been off the charts in terms of fun and entertainment. It's safe to say hardly anyone cares about television anymore. Live shows are the future. Come to a show here and you'll get affordable entertainment by talented people who also understand how hospitality works. Staff and artists are great. Lots of parking in the area. I'm glad this place was able to hold up when so many other stages went out of business during the pandemic.

I wanted to shout out one of the technical directors, Ted! Super friendly, cool, and very kindhearted. Can’t wait for this place to reopen very soon!!

Being able to take sketch classes remotely has been a highlight of this pandemic. Sketch I with Eric Moneypenny was so good I signed up for Sketch II.  Eric is a phenomenal teacher with lots of personal experience to backup the craft. His notes make the medium easy to understand and dive into. The weekly assignments help you to unlock the mystery behind the magical art form of sketch comedy.

The class helps you to develop the skills to take an idea and turn it into a finished piece of work, in a fun and supportive environment. Highly recommend this to anyone who’s always wanted to take a sketch class, or polish up their skillset. Made even better by doing it from the comfort of your own home and skipping out on traffic. Silver linings all around!

Small but packed with energy and enthusiasm. Sketch, improv, stand-up, and plenty of things that are just unclassifiable but funny as hell. No need to buy tickets, all shows run on donations.

Great spot for free comedy! I love that this theater is always trying new stuff. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a fun show.

Also highly recommend taking classes here. This is a theater full of good people.

I saw the Lick and Gold Baby improv show and it was amazing. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. The theater is small making it cramped but that really added to the vibrant atmosphere. I highly recommend going to a show there.

A very local type spot. Very small theater of roughly 100 seats with shows that are very unique and at times push the envelope. The cast and crew work off of donations that got give at the front door. What you give is your cover charge!

An great source of some of the funniest comedy in LA. Whether it’s improv, sketch, or one of the many shows that don’t quite fit into a neat little description, every night there are impressive shows that will leave you in stitches. I highly recommend Rude Mondays or Townies for improv, any of the house sketch teams on Wednesdays & Sundays or the weird but insanely entertaining Speedface. Best part is all shows are pay what you can donation based.

My real parents dropped me off on the front porch of The Pack Theater 2 years ago and I found a new family who accepts me for who I am: an old man with a crazy comedy dream and a proclivity for dad jokes fueled by cheap bourbon. As literally one of the DOZENS of LA transplants pursuing a career in comedy, I can’t think of a better family of which to be a part.

This is like the dive bar of comedy theaters in the best way possible. The sort of place where if you are in Los Angeles visiting, you catch a show here to get that authentic LA experience. Where the savviest tourists go for cheap laughs, young hungry comedians go to master their craft, and celebs go to slum it up. All the shows are "pay what you can" and hilarious.
