Woke up early to spend the day in LA and began with Amir’s Garden. Due to it raining an hour prior, the trail was empty and i was able to have the garden all to myself which was really nice. The entrance was a little hard to locate since i came from the side where the golf course was located. Below i posted a picture of what the entrance looks like. I love the story behind this place. There were several plants along the sides of the path and it was easy to see where to walk. The stairs to the top may be a little difficult for someone who isn’t use to hiking but overall, it was a pretty easy trail. Benches are placed in front of the pretty views for you to enjoy. I recommend using the restrooms at the park on the way to the trail because there weren’t any at the garden.

Gorgeous way to spend a sunny day relaxing. So much going on and so much diversity. People eating lunch, dancing, yoga, card games, or casual drinks (though not sure what the laws are so be careful). Free spirited area and cool if you want a non touristy spot in the city. A local recommended to us so you know it's legit. Would suggest grabbing a blanket and snack and relaxing there for an hour or two! Near Castro neighborhood which was nice and not a far walk to Alamo park where you can see the painted ladies (full house backdrop). Worth checking out if you have time!

Great stair hike and trails ????! We parked at the Mineral Wells picnic area and hiked up! The garden has plenty of benches and a picnic table for a snack break. There a small meandering trails that lead to bigger trails or back down to parking. May be a challenge for disabled or very small children.

Very nice park up in the mountains in Griffin Park great for walking your dogs they have a little benches where you can take a rest or just enjoy The view there are a lot of trees that keep the area really fresh so even if you feel sweaty you can cool down after I totally recommend this place and I will definitely will be going back.

Great hike. Had 4 kids with us ages 3-9 and they all did great. It is .4 miles up. The little one got to ride shoulders for a little. We all had a great time!

First time trying this trail. It was tougher than I anticipated, but rewarding at the end. Nice view all the way to the top. Nice picnic area to eat our lunch. Beautiful flowers, succulents, and plants in the garden. Dogs allowed on leash, water fountain at the top. Saw coyotes so be aware if you have small dogs. Parking is free.

Steep hills, thick foliage, secluded benches nice mix to make you forget city life. Nice assisted hike with steps make it easier but still challenging to climb the top. Forgot my sunscreen on a very hot sunny day but the canopy so lush hardly any sun gets through. Really such a nice calming walk, whole family loved it. Some walkways were eroded from past rainfall so becareful. Benches at some key points let's you enjoy some nice views. Recommend visiting it, i will be back for more.
