Beautiful roses for the eyes to see and the aroma was over the top. Bring a blanket to sit under a tree or just in the grassy area. If you want to be in the shade, there are three covered gazebos surrounded by blooming roses. This is a great photo shot area, great place to bring the family especially young children. Plus it's free!

The PRETTIEST rose garden I've ever seen! There were arces upon acres of multi-coloured roses and they were all in bloom! There are so many wonderful picture spots too like the fountain and Pavillion!! The best part is that it's free to visit!

My all time favorite rose garden. Always something in bloom. Easy to get to from the Exposition Park Metro Station on E Line Expo. It's right there. Many other things to do at the same location like The California Science Center and The Natural History Museum. The water fountain in the middle of the rose garden is very large and beautiful. I absolutely love this place.

The garden is beautiful! There is no parking for the Park, you have to park in the National Museum parking which is great. The walk from the parking lot is not a lot, and the parking is safe. Best to go during weekdays since finding a parking spot can be difficult. Spring is the perfect time to visit!

Beautiful location for lunch, a few hours reading in the sun, and pictures.

Jan 2022: visited briefly after finishing the nearby Cal Science Museum. Since you’re paying $15 for parking, might as well see everything in the park, right?

Didn’t look very promising from the outside. Could be the season, but not a lot of flowers/ roses were present. Most of the plants seemed devoid of flowers so didn’t venture inside. If planning to visit, either read the latest reviews or check somewhere online if flowers are in bloom. That being said, it is a nice place to stroll around

I didn't realize the fountain at Exposition Park works again. It was so much fun and the Roses were out in full bloom. While there, I recommend visiting the Natural History Museum and the California Science Center.

My family surprised me with a trip here on mother's day and i absolutely loved it. I could have just wandered among these beautiful blossoms all day! Every variation you could ever want to see is on glorious display here. The garden is so well tended and perfectly manicured. It would be such a pretty place for a photo shoot!
