Very nice well maintained trails. Nice workout climbing to the top! The flocks of Parrots living near the top are beautiful, vibrant green Parrots. Awesome views.

Awesome hiking trail tucked away in LA. Easily accessible with plenty of free street parking. Watch out for unleashed dogs. Also, there are a few stream crossings, so dress appropriately. Mountain bikers should ride with bells. I haven't seen any horseback riders, but, always give them the right of way.

Gorgeous easy hike, nice foliage and little creeks throughout, connects to the fire road and the rest of Mandeville for a good loop of varied lengths.

Difficult to find a legal parking spot. Don't know how militant parking enforcement is but I had time. Many people were not parked on legal spots but no citations had been issued in the 2 hours I was gone

The entry looks intimidating with its steel wall doors, but on the left is the entrance to trailhead.

Great hike!! Can be easy or hard depending on your skill level, but the views are incredible no matter what!

Nothing special. You can get lost or disappear very quickly. Not hiker friendy as there are no or not enough signs or maps. Tend to lose reception which is hard in case of emergency. Go with a group when considering this place

Currently closed until after July 2020 (at least). There is a cop car behind the gate and a video camera monitoring activity. Otherwise, this is a good place to go hike early in the morning or late evening because the canyon provides shade from the sun. The trail ends at a trail that connects to the Marvin braude trail system on the valley side.

It's a nice trail to walk your dog. I walked about 3-4 miles from the trial head and back. The trail is mostly flat, abound with shade. Went there with a group of 40 people, but it's also fine for solo hike (or rather trekking). There are quite a bit of Mountain bikers on the trail. They seemed to be having a blast. If you are ubering there and you are solo. I'd try to ask someone for carpool if they are heading down - reception up there is spotty and Lyft drivers tend to cancel.

Beautiful Scenic trails with many Water Crossings, great for hiking, biking and horse trails. Nice little bit of single track on both sides of the trail!
