Beautifully designed unique theater in the Hollywood Hills. Gorgeous quiet setting you can hear the crickets in the surrounding trees. Delicious food at the patio cafes before the show. Stacked parking or free shuttle service from the Universal City Metro Red Line Station parking lot across from Universal Studios. Shuttle takes 10-15 minutes and drops you off at theater box office, so convenient!

Beautiful venue with amazing acoustics. But the parking situation is not the best, arrive early in order to avoid having to take a shuttle.

We went to see Billy Childs as part of the Angel City Jazz festival. It was a wonderful show. The things that he is able to do on the piano is incredible. Dianne Reeves stole the show with her amazing voice. Alexander Gideon's spoken word poetry electrified the crowd.

However, whoever you used as your parking company for this show, needs to be reconsidered. They were rude, confused, and unimaginative. I was at the Ford just three weeks ago and had a pleasant experience with the parking attendants.

But the show was so good, the parking attendants could not spoil the night.

Checked out the Flypoet Summer Classic Spoken Word and Music Showcase. What a fun event at a So Cal landmark that was just taken over by the LA Phil after an extensive remodel. The LA Phil also just took over the Hollywood Bowl across the 101 freeway.

I've gone to this event the last 9 years so I can really see and hear the difference. The people with the LA Phil relly care about the quality of the guest experience and it shows. Now that the LA Phil is booking the space I'm looking forward to some fantastic performances by some world class artists.

And just like the bowl picnicking is encouraged as part of the outdoor experience.

Check out the photos of the original theater in the hallways on the way to the bathrooms it's worth the time to see old LA and what the area looked like before and during construction.

This concert was a an enjoyable event. The beautiful traditional mariachi music along with the some of the most beautiful and colorful costumes made for a spectacular evening. I would have preferred natural lighting of the stage and performers rather than a rainbow of unnatural colors like pink. Overall, I had a lovely evening.

A small open and cozy theatre. Highly recommended. The sound, the view and the environment is superb. There is no need to bring a binocular since it's a small theater. You are able to bring wine, beer and food in the theater and enjoy your feast. At longest it fits below your seat. They really maintain the surroundings because I didn't see any trash laying around AND not one mosquito bite I got. At the end of the show you are able to meet the artists... great way to end the night! Looking forward to go again.

Came for the Stranger Things Season 3 screening with a moderated conversation with David Harbour! The venue is beautiful! Parking onsite is tricky with their stacked car policy, even more challenging when time to "leave". Let's just say it isn't a feat for the faint of heart!
The upstairs dining had a decent selection but pretty pricey (i.e. 2 sliders were $9 and together did not make up or the size of a normal hamburger) and dinner for 4 (3 of which were kids) with no alcohol came to $77 - yikes! Patrons CAN bring in picnics and beer and wine which makes it a delightfully affordable option. Staff were over the top friendly and seemed genuinely thrilled you were there! Can not wait to return for another over the top event! Hard to top Stranger Things 3 screening 4 days before the release - pretty epic!

Great place to see live performances! You can bring food and drinks and have a picnic before the show. Parking is challenging which is the only reason this place doesn't get five stars.
