This trail is great. A very easy hike, but the end trail is worth it. Great viewing areas of the city with minimal people on the trail with you. ????

A quiet place and a good length for a walk. I don't want to go tell everyone, because I don't want to make it too popular. I love it being a good neighborhood secret spot.

I really like this trail. It's super easy to get to via both public transpo via the 38 or 38L and there is bountiful, easy parking for those who want to drive in. The trails and views are magical and if you venture out to Eagle's Point you get to enjoy the hand-made labyrinth!

I absolutely love this trail, and can not wait to come back on a day when it is not raining. It has some of the best views in the city and the trail is not very strenuous. Dogs can be walked along the trail as long as they are on their leash. Come early so you do not have to worry about finding a parking spot. Parking is FREE! There is a restroom at the start of the trail, and if you are adventurous you could explore China Beach when you reach the end before you turn around to head back.

Awesome views with long trails. Only down side was walking in some people came down the trail with very loud music and started threatening us. We didnt say anything any continued on. Upon returning to our rental vehicle about 4 to 5 hours later we noticed someone tried breaking in. They failed but broke the passenger lock and went to put the key in the driver door and the whole locking mechanism shot out at me. We called the police and apparently all available units were busy on call but would send one when available. After 2 hours of waiting on 100 degree wheather with no water we called back. Took another 2 hours for an officer to show up and he thought WE were the ones trying to break into the car. After all cools down he tells us he doesnt have the equipment for unlocking a vehicle and to call a tow truck. Another hour goes by until the tow truck arrives to unlock the car and were home free.

There is no sign telling you that it is in fact Trebek open space. It is a short trail but very quiet and peaceful. Lots of birds and a decent view. You might have to go up and down a few times if you want a good workout.

Who knew? Alex Trebek actually had this trail and space preserved. Kudos to him. Beautiful views of LA. It was super hot the day we went so be prepared. Always bring water and wear a hat and sunscreen.

Great open space with trails that are almost always empty. A great, but short, hike that is away from the crowds (and off leash dogs) swarming over at Runyon Canyon. Nice and quiet, with pretty good views.
