Came here for a show and it was AWESOME!
The music venue was surprisingly spacious and the bands were amazing.
The bar was really cool with a DJ playing and a nice little dance floor.

Excellent venue for jazz and other genres. Be advised, every time I've been there the audience is standing. And with standing room only. Always a happy and enthusiastic crowd.

I had a great time at this venue! The entrance is in an alley off 56th and there is a free-after-9pm parking lot across the street. The line to get in can take a little while, so give yourself enough time for that if you want to see a certain band. We didn't allot for that, so we missed all but one song of the opening act. Other than that, every staff member we interacted with was very friendly, from the employee checking vax cards, to the ticket booth attendants, and even the bartender. The venue itself was on the 2nd floor of the building and it has a distinct scent (like old building mixed with body odor). It was a little off-putting, but I was able to look passed that since there was lots of space for everyone and a great view from any point of the room. The sound was pretty good and overall ambiance was great. They have a small area for merch in a busy hallway, which made me a bit claustrophobic so I wasn't able to buy anything because I just needed out. I will definitely be back, I loved the friendliness of the staff and the ease of the venue.

Giving this place 5 stars for hosting Reggie Watts. My first time at the venue and I was too excited to not have a good time. The atmosphere was very friendly and the staff was genuine.

Came here for the first time last night to see ‘Misa Negra’. Very nice spot to see a show, very classy decor and very intimate. There is a separate bar/dining room apart from the music hall that is super elaborately decorated. Music wasn’t too loud. Parking is easy to find just across the street. Would definitely like to see more bands here.

Great sound and lighting, lots of room, a slick, tasteful interior, two bars (one in the venue and a larger attached one with a balcony) and occult vibes leftover from the building's history as a Masonic Lodge; what more could you want from a venue?

I’ve been to hundreds of concerts so it’s surprising that it took me this long to go to this venue. It definitely felt like a weird venue to me (in a good way). It’s spacious enough to not feel cramped but it also felt intimate. They also have a bathroom really close to the stage so if you get the urge you can go and be back to the stage without missing much. The sound was pretty great, no overpowering and distorted bass like at a lot of venues. The only semi-negative thing is that they don’t have a parking lot so you will need to drive around the streets to find a spot to park.

Decent venue in the heart of highland park. Went to see Eddie Chacon, had a reasonable priced beer and relaxed to the sweet soothing sounds of Eddie and John Kirby. Honestly was such a nice night.
