Was sat 20 mins after our reservation time and when I told the server I was vegetarian he mocked me and said he will “tell the kitchen” to remove the meat from my salad. There was a ton of salami in my vegetarian salad…. Never coming back here

It’s my first time back after the restaurant reopened post renovation. The food is as delicious as ever. The beef tartare with soy cured egg yolk, cracked farro salad and chili ribs are always good choices. The spaghetti with Dungeness crab and the fusilli with clams were satisfying. The orata with pesto trapanese and bean puree was the hands down favorite. The service is superb. The place is also dog friendly like most places in Silverlake.

Ambiance is A+. Food was very good, not mind blowing. Waiter made fun of us during dinner, then later asked twice to leave our table while partner was using restroom and knocked on the bathroom door to hurry us out. It was weird.

We stopped here during the pandemic for pick up order that took forever but it was very good. They get very busy and the food can take some time. However, its great value overall with unique other bakery items such as Khachapuri. Moreover, parking can be challenging here. Id love to go back for a dine in experience.
we ordered the napoleon pizza and the fungi. the crust is perfect and well balanced. The fungi is delicious as well although its not my favorite type of pizza.

Worth it. Great environment as well as wonderful food. Gotta love a restaurant where the only signage is the letter “A.” The masa gnoccho fritto were excellent, and the chocolate dessert was a standout.

One of the best meals I have had anywhere in the world. It’s an intimate dining room with a casual yet cool scene, but the real star here is the food. To start, get the Chicken Liver Mousse and the Radicchio Caesar. Don’t miss the masa fitters with prosciutto and truffle honey. This dish beautifully embodies Alimento’s sophisticated Angelino take on Italian cuisine. The pastas are to die for. We loved the Tortellini en Brodo which is a sort of beautifully buttery Italian soup dumpling. Dessert and the wine program are also world class.

Excellent ingredients and wine list. Knowledgeable server. Just know there are lots of unnecessary rules here. They’re doing you a favor by serving you. With 4 empty four tops you’re told the table you reserved isn’t ready until guests leave. No big deal, we will have a drink while we wait standing (no you won’t said the host, you can kindly wait outside - a kind #off). So we stared at all the empty until they turned ours 30 min after our reservation time. We weren’t the only ones not adhering to unknown protocols. Other guests were chastised over corkage rules, reservation timeliness, specifying outdoor and indoor tables, etc. Also be aware they charge $1.50 per person for filtered water and 8% for healthcare. All fine by me if you disclose it, which they didn’t. There are so many great restaurants that provide warm and inviting service coupled with great food and wine. Save your money and sanity and skip this one for one of those. They’re out favors anyways.

Everything was delicious. The small dishes were probably the best. My favourite was the pork ribs. My pasta was also impeccable.

This restaurant is a great location in our neighborhood of Silverlake, CA. Despite the pandemic, the service continuous to be to notch. Thank you All for such a great environment and keeping us all safe as much as possible.

Craving for some good Italian, get a table for two. Service was very friendly and attentive (nothing like other reviewer mentioned) minimalist design and decor, simple and clean.
We start with smooth delicious chicken liver pate, followed by tender octopus, just right amount of spicy ribs, al dente duck sausage lumache, all good but until acqua pazza show up, it's just so far away from their Instagram picture (look like two different dish) and way too salty.
Overall it was a great dinner.
