Mother’s Day ritual. Huevos Rancheros and The Original Hollenbeck are always on the check. Nothing short of delicious. Capacity is low. Friendly vibe, pretty sure same people are at the counter every time I go. First time I came here was 1993, the only thing that changes is price. Not pictured, chips and salsa.

Ginormous burritos that are so awesome! I was able to get a breakfast burrito and they did not skimp me on cheese, egg, or bacon. ???????????????? A great spot that I am fortunate to have stopped at. I recommend this place and would definitely go back with more of my crew. The staff was very busy, but still made it a point to be very kind. ????????

One of the better Mexican restaurants in Los Angeles in my opinion. I moved here from San Diego, where I grew up, a few years ago so it’s been really hard to find Mexican food that’s as good up here but this is one of the few restaurants that I enjoy coming to. It’s out of the way for me over in East LA in a residential neighborhood but it’s worth a stop especially when I am coming from east into town. The burritos still don’t taste like home to me so I don’t order those but the plates are really delicious, the portion sizes are really generous, and the food quality is there. They also have a parking lot with about 10 spaces attached next door and street parking is easier here in East LA compared to other parts of town.

I would recommend any kind of Mexican food and definitely plan to be back again.

Anytime I’m in East Los Angeles I eat here. They never disappoint! I ordered the Mini Hollenbeck and still couldn’t eat the whole thing! It was so delicious. Our server, Ariel was the best! She had a room full to serve plus the counter and she had a smile on her face the whole time. Thank you Ariel!

I got the taco and enchilada combination dinner. Both items with shredded beef. Fantastic flavor and lots of meat! Incredible deals for $11.50!

As old school as they come. Everyone that I told I was coming here said “That’s Manny’s place” and I guess he was one of the previous owners. My dad said he was quite welcoming. The burritos were gigantic even the mini one my dad and I split.

This place is a must of you're in the east LA area. The hollenbeck or Manuel special come Verde burrito is what they're known for. But why cronchy tacos are ????
