Hands down, the food is worth the wait! I ordered the croquettes and my brother ordered the fried pork chops. Delicious!!

Wow what a beautiful experience I had here!!! The ambiance of the restaurant was amazing and Willie served us exceptionally!!! This is definitely a place to start off an amazing Sunday!!!

Let me preface this by saying I waited until I came here several times (at least 5) before I decided to review. I have had a consistent experience each time. The food is absolutely delicious. It’s one of the reasons I keep coming back. But I have learned to have a small little snack at home before coming because service is soooooo slow! The kitchen isn’t the quickest. But that can be understood , delicious food takes time. But servers are what makes it torturous. Waiting for the check has taken me 30 minutes on occasion. The coffee and biscuits are great but takes a long time too, I wonder if they make it fresh for each table? Either way. Worth a visit , you won’t be disappointed in the food. But set your expectations on your wait times. I’ll still be back.

Everything about this place is superb! From the great and timely customer service to the high-quality food. The highlight of the meal was the grits. Being from the South, I'm leery of ordering grits outside of the South. However when I found out the owners were from Louisiana, I knew I was in good hands. And they did not disappoint! I kept dipping my fried catfish in my boyfriend's short ribs gravy just because I needed to soak up all the flavor.
This is a place that truly lives up to its name. I highly recommend this establishment and will be back next time I visit LA.

This my regular spot. I’m from Memphis and it’s definitely hard to wow me.
However the food is great here. The customer service is awesome too. I love bringing family here from the South!

Shrimp Étouffée was off the , catfish and jumbo shrimp always poppin! This my spot!

Food is really good! Inside is very clean and the staff seems very on the ball. I ordered to go, due to their busyness they wouldn't take a phone order, but went inside and ordered food came out fairly quick seeing how it's made fresh. Would recommend this restaurant 100%.

Clean establishment, friendly, good service. Great coffee strong but smooth served with biscuits just like my mother used to make. Had the salmon croquettes with eggs and grits absolutely mouth-watering delicious! Portions are very generous, highly recommend this place one of LA's best kept secrets hopefully not for long, black owned please support this place ????

Absolutely delicious and HUGE portions, great attentive & cordial service from Joe. He helped us with great pride and courtesy. That shows confidence in what your serving! Everything was VERY clean ...the bathroom and tables. I had the catfish and my sister had the salmon croquet. Both excellent. Alllll the orders that I saw served looked fantastic. Next visit to LA this will be my must-make stop! Bye Rosco's ????
