Great place for Korean BBQ for friends and family reunion. meat is fresh and marinated well. Shrimp is not that fresh but it’s ok. $4 valet parking is required since the plaza is relatively small, love the corn cheese, we are so full and didn’t try the kimchi fried rice with cheese. Will try next time. Ktown has so many BBQ places, will try something different next time~

If you’re coming on a weekend evening expect to wait 45 mins-1 hr (possibly a little longer) but the quality of the meat and sides is always high, the servers are attentive and the atmosphere is fun. If you really don’t want to wait come for lunch and enjoy a less crowded vibe. My family and I keep coming back because even when we have to wait we leave full and content. A note on parking, it’s best to just valet or if needed park across the street because this plaza gets pretty full at rush hour.

This is the best AYCE kbbq open right now! The staff is great, the food is great, and the ambiance is great!!! Loved it here! Will make it a habit to return consistently!!

Me and my friend arrived around 6, and the place was packed. And there was people waiting outside for tables. I put my name on the waiting list and after like 15-20 minutes they called my name. Food was fresh, waiters here were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back here if I visit LA again!

Good but pretty expensive. The staff is very friendly. Lettuce on the side with an extra $5. The lunch special was still $40. The quality is really good, but definitely comes at a price. Also kind of confusing wait stuff. They start cooking your food for you, but then walk away? Not sure if they’re supposed to serve it to you or if you’re supposed to grab it from the grill. We ended up grabbing it from the grill. Been there a few times and not really sure to this day.

My family and I celebrated a graduation and we headed to California for some fun at Disneyland! After our fun-filled trip, one of my family members really wanted to drive over to Koreatown to eat at Hae Jang Chon Korean BBQ Restaurant. Upon arrival, we valet parked the car because valet parking was very affordable and was located exactly in front of the restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant, we were kindly greeted and we're asked to wait a few minutes while the table was being set up. It was super quick and we were greeted by an expertly prepared table. We were very excited to begin our dining experience and the restaurant team members were extremely professional in every move they made! The small appetizers were dazzlingly delicious and the sauces / chili sauces were positively perfect! We ordered our meat choices and the restaurant team member begin to expertly cook every portion perfectly! Honestly, I was blown away by the quality of food and the professional cooking skills of the restaurant team members. After our meal, we all sat back with our bellies full and super satisfied! To be honest, I look forward to eating here on my next trip to Los Angeles/Koreatown! After talking to a few friends / co-workers that are located in Los Angeles, I mentioned that we ate at this restaurant and they were well aware of its good and positive reputation! We all thanked my family member for suggesting this excellent dining establishment!

We had an amazing experience at Hae Jang chon today! The meat qualities were amazing and the other side dashes were also awesome. The service was excellent. I could not find any drawbacks from this restaurant. As a Korean, I can tell this place is authentic Korean BBQ.

THIS IS A MUST TRY! Boy was this place awesome. Words can’t describe the experience and I can’t wait to go back!
First-This place is in a shopping center and I will say the parking isn’t ideal. They have valet I believe it’s like $4 but didn’t seem worth it. Found street parking but the meter only goes to an hour max. You’ll definitely need more than that for this awesome place. The inside is really nice, and they have outdoor seating. I’m tall so the seating wasn’t the most comfortable but it was still good enough. The staff was great. They explained everything on the table and made great recommendations for food. They were polite. Cooked some food for us and cut stuff up and we’re delightful.
Second-The food was PHENOMENAL! They have a lot of choices and we probably went through half before we hit our fill. Everything was so fresh and just great. It was so good. I highly recommend the prime steak and the brisket! They seemed like very popular options as a lot of tables seemed to be getting that!
I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place! It is worth the $40 I promise.

Let me start with parking.
Parking is an issue, it was full even with valet parking (4$). could able to find parking on street after a circle around the block.
Wait time on a Monday night here was an hour which seems to be too high but there is nothing restaurant can do about it.
Staff at the counter or receiving entrance was just okay, there was no happy expressions or too friendly, they were doing basic job. However, staff inside who were taking order at table, cleaners are excellent and super friendly.
Side dishes are normal not the best tasting except one or two.
BBQ meat and experience was great.
Meat was so tasty, flavors were super great. meat was so juicy and cooked to perfection. easily one of the best BBQ considering only BBQ part of it. will come again to this place when i get chance.

Food was good and wait staff was nice.
Some things to consider.
My 9 year old was $40. We weren’t able to cook our own food at our own pace. The wait staff would put our food on the side since we had a party of 7 and cook/cut it for us. The rice dish is served at the end. You order 3 cuts of meat at a time.
