This was a Dine LA lunch. The jalapeno hush puppies with remoulade were just plain good! I opted for the blackened salmon since I was just in the Big Easy and yes, you can get tired of gumbo. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The chef, Jahmal, came out to ask us about the food and we had a friendly chat with him. He assured me I would like the twinkie. Well I have never eaten a twinkie in my life, let alone a fried one. Boy have I been missing out! It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with a light caramel drizzle and a dollop of homemade ice cream. Yummmmmmy! The servers were nice, attentive and friendly. I highly recommend a visit.

Came here with my wife in order to try DineLA menu. Everyone were nice. The place looks a little bit like a hall, but I think they have something inside too, and a great patio.
We tried jalapeño hushpuppies and the BBQ chicken flatbread. Very nice both, the jalapeños had a small spicy touch. After that, we had the salmon and gunbo. Both were really good; the salmon was delicious (my wife said something in between was and delicious), and mine too with a perfect cornbread.
Anyway, we were astonished by the dessert: those deep fried twinkies got us in heaven. It was the perfect ending for a beautiful meal.

I like the open bar floor plan concept. Instead of the cheesy little lobby coffee shop, let’s open it up and provide counter seating, and compliment it with generous off lobby seating and a nice oasis of out door seating. The MealPal meal was a cross up, but looking to come back for more quiet time.

I love it here. Great drinks and fast service. Nice selection of food choices - not a super broad menu but everything they make they make really well. It's a great atmosphere - a patio overlooking the 110. A great destination to meet friends and make new ones!!

Food was good. Standard beers. Scotch selection was poor. Location was HELLA COOL. Manager was unprofessional (flirting with a drunk girl) bartender was unknowledgable (or rude - couldn't get a good read on him)

Our office went there for happy hour after work on day. The hostess there are so nice. She did everything in her power to provide us with anything we need. i.e. heater, water, round and rounds of drinks. Definitely recommend

Great place for drinks. Even though its next to the freeway you never hear it. The service is good. There is plenty of space for big groups both indoors and outdoors.

I discovered the Harbor House after day two in LA. They have good options for a quick lunch and wait staff were very friendly. Went back after meeting for happy hour which was outstanding! Great pricing, friendly wait staff and civeche was delicious.

I’ve been here about twice a month for the last six-to-eight. I’ve given them the good, old college try. The venue is good. Awesome, in fact. The service staff outside is very nice. The service at the bar is positively terrible, though. Not only does the staff behind the bar not know *anything* about the beers that they serve, they are more interested in their phones and flirting than providing good service.

Examples: I just asked for my check and a glass of water at the same time. I was brought my check immediately, waited while the bartender checked her phone and texted (right in front of me), then got my water. I’ve asked for recommendations for beer based on the fact that I don’t like fruity beers. I was brought the most fruity beer I’ve ever had, while he said, “I think you’ll *really* like this one.” I watched once when a new employee shadowing an old one who asked of the other, “that’s an amber beer?” for a beer that looked like Bud Light in the glass. They walked outside with it, then I watched them return with it. The bartender said, “yes, that’s it.” He then smelled it, checked the taps, and realized he poured the wrong one, which was obvious by the color.

Most concerning to the owners (great for me, though), is that I’ve never paid for what I’ve ordered. I just had four beers, 3 of them during happy hour, and my bill came to less than $9. While I’d like to think it’s my devilishly good looks, it’s not. It’s because the bartenders don’t know what they’re doing (or cheating the owners for better tips). But while I’m writing this, I realize that should keep my free beer secret to myself...

The staff behind the bar has largely been the same since they’ve opened. I’m surprised they’ve lasted...

They should definitely hire a secret shopping agency. I think they be surprised by what they find.
