This was a wonderful experience! Food and service (our server was Autumn) were great. I highly recommend this for a date spot or small groups. There is a lot offered on the menu so it's a place you'll want to go back to multiple times. They do have a lot for parking as well as plenty of street parking (meters only run until 6pm).

Well made but maybe too heavy handed with the butter and sugar. The cornbread with shishito peppers was yummy, it was also covered with a butter frosting. The brussel sprouts were well salted with a tangy taste, a tad over fried. The pork belly was slow braised and fell apart easily. The gnocchi potato skin dish was pretty interesting with crispy potato thins. The lasagna was just ok. The toffee cake dessert was amazing in flavor, yet also frosted in butter

We were pleasantly surprised with the easy parking and almost residential neighborhood. After we were seated right away the delight began! The service was almost as wonderful as food was delicious! The atmosphere was perfectly not stuffy and there was a patio option however we sat inside and it was perfect! Hatchet Hall is a new favorite

I had my birthday at Hatchet Hall on Friday April 8 and it was phenomena! Foods was ten out of ten , drink was great and delicious. It tasted so good and the service just makes going to this restaurant a good time! Book well in advance if you want a good table for party. The pink cocktail, I still think about it, so delicious! Our guests had a wonderful time too. In addition, Chef Wes make his way out to my party to celebrated and checked on our foods! This place is pretty and much worth the hype! Special thanks to Jennifer our party planner to make a successful birthday party for me.We will come back for my husband birthday party in May!

I have been to LA a few times over the last 18 months and have for various reasons missed my chance to experience this place. It was high on my radar for the inventive food and drink choices and large outdoor (as well as indoor) spaces. I finally made it tonight. The obvious tent for winter purposes wasn't ideal, but we had a drink at the main bar and then got a table inside. The ambiance is very nice, though a tad loud. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food was excellent, but do note, their cornbread is supposedly a staple, it is sweet and syrupy. It is close to bread pudding with a light jalapeno twist. Again, it was really nice but most dessert, not a side dish for your dinner ..maybe it's just me?
Very good and a place to check out. Very lively and a cool spot.
Oh and one more note. The Old Man Bar is a little dark side bar that is not to be missed. Lots of whiskey and wood, not to mention they are spinning vinyl for their music!

Looking for a chic night out in LA with the cool crowd? Look no further! But the hostess staff sure does like to treat you like you’re not quite lucky enough to be there… severely misquoting wait times with an attitude that deters many from waiting around. Pro tip: if they say 45 min to an hour, that really means 15-30 minutes, so be strong! It’s a big restaurant with lotsss of tables. And if you’re in a hurry, try your luck at the bar.

Once we got past the host staff, our server certainly turned things around. But the real star of Hatchet Hall is the food. Inventive and unique dishes from the mind of a mad chef with talent pouring from their hands. The menu changes constantly which makes each visit a bit different from the last.

If I could give 10 Stars, I would. Service is amazing, atmosphere is wonderful. The food is heaven sent, so flavorful. The combinations of flavors are married together perfectly. The drinks are fantastic. The food is shared plates, go crazy and take a walk after. Enjoy a wonderful evening out and treat yourself.
