Love love love Kobawoo. Bossam and seafood pancake of course are amazing but everything else on the menu is great too if you worried it'll be all pork and seafood.

Absolutely superb Korean food. Went with a couple friends, and we tried the bosam, bibimbap, and bulgogi which were all delicious. My favorite item was the kimchi pancake, it was super crispy and flavorful!

Very good Korean food, especially the soups.
There is usually a little wait, but it is worth it, and the service is very friendly, too.

We stumbled on this place when looking for dinner and glad we did! Their appetizers were great but the entrees were to die for!! We started with the kimchi pancake and topped it off with the short ribs as well as beef and pork bulgogi. I'd recommend this to everyone and will definitely visit again!

Very popular Korean restaurant serving traditional dishes. You can tell the quality of the food because there are a lot of older Korean customers. Expect to wait. Bossam was tasty and bibimbap was full of nice veggies. You can add the sauce and the rice to your own likings. Parking in the small plaza is valet only and $3 cash.

Place was packed when we went. We went to celebrate a birthday.

There were 2 maybe 3 waiters and you could tell they could use another set of hands.
Not the fastest service and sometimes they can overlook your table.

The kalbi and the banchan were the best items.
We also ordered the seafood pancake, spicy fish dish and some soybean soup. I would not recommend the soup, it was super super salty. They tried to fix it but it was still salty.

They took the item back but we had to ask for a credit on our bill.

I would definitely go back again for the kalbi but not on the weekend since it gets super busy.

When asked which kind of rice? Mixed grain or white? My wife hesitated about the choice.
Then the owner (or the male manager) gave her an exhausted look as if to say ‘come on already’.
When a place gets too popular most get an attitude. But cant have attitude when the bossam meat is this thin and this dry.
OVERRATED. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Didnt want to tip small and punish the wait staff so writing this in the middle of my meal instead.

Lunch Special Bossam is what you should get. The price is very good and Bossam which is pork belly which you eat like a taco using cabbage as the shell with fermented shrip for the salt and korean fermented soy bean paste for the spice. Comes with fermented soy bean soup which is also very good.
Great meal for a great price.

I will never go to this place again. Soup had no flavor at all and just plain pepper flakes you taste. It didn’t taste like they used broth but just tap water to cook the soup. my friend ordered bibimbap which had a very strong tap water chemical scent.

The hype is real. You have to get the bossam here. It’s fantastic. This is the type of place I’d bring my friends to if they’re in town and want good Korean food. Their banchan and 된장찌개 are all spectacular. Didn’t get the seafood pancake cause we were on a tight schedule, but that’s the other big hit here. If you want my honest opinion, I still think Mr. Bossam and Hangari do a better job with the vinegared 쌈, but they’re all Tier 1 level bossam in Koreatown. I would come here again easily.
