Great place to celebrate a special occasion. We came here on a Friday night to celebrate a birthday. We had reservations so we were seated fairly quickly after we checked in. Due to the location they don't have designated parking but we were able to find parking on the street a few blocks down. Service was good given how busy our waitress was. We ordered the bread and the creamy buratta to start, signature flambe truffle pasta, beef bourguignon, mushrooms risotto, steak & fries, and cocktails. For a special occasion the flambee truffle pasta is a must. They come table side and put on quite a show. All the other food items were good but not memorable out of everything my favorite was the creamy burratta it was heaven with the baguette (note charge $5 bucks for bread). Music was on the louder side but was at a good level to hold a conversation. They gave free birthday shots with a sparkler to make the birthday meal special. It would be a great spot to celebrate a special occasion but wouldn't necessarily just come back for the food. There was also outdoor seating with heaters that looked really cute but we reserved inside to watch the truffle pasta preparations tableside.

Parisienne food and ambiance in the heart of DTLA. We celebrated an engagement here today. The food and service is excellent as always. The steak au poivre, moules frites and chicken with lemon garlic confit were cooked to perfection. The truffle scramble eggs were another level. The desserts were a nice finish to a very enjoyable lunch!

The food was good, not great. The prices were crazy expensive, the service was a step above mediocre. The food server didn't seem happy to be working. The best part of the experience was the parking lot attendant in Valet parking. He was gracious and welcoming. I enjoyed meeting my friend there, the place is vintage and decorated well. The pandemic may have affected how the chef and food servers feel about returning to work, which at best, felt ambivalent.

Food quality is excellent. Service is good but can be better. The patio seating has a special charm. The indoor dining room looks very glamorous. It's only problem is its location. You gotta be very aware of your surroundings while going in and out of the place. Not the best area in LA unfortunately.

The food was good, but the service was really awful and not up to par. I would recommend the food here, especially the beef tartare, filet mignon, the desserts, and the signature flambe pasta we unfortunately did not get to try. But do potentially avoid bringing a date to impress here, and plan for a casual or relaxed night. There was honestly not one aspect of our meal that went entirely correctly. All the points of service below.

The greeter (doorman) however was the best part of our experience. He was very kind and courteous and even offered to take pictures for us outside the restaurant.

We reserved the set menu for Valentine's Day and the details are below. Note that there was a set menu and these were the only items available on this day.

- Arriving: We were sat 20 minutes after our reservation (reservation 9:45pm, sat 10:05pm with a long line behind us still waiting to be seated). I booked a table inside the dining room but they didn't have a spot. We sat outside. This is understandable being Valentine's Day and the patio was still lovely.

- Server: After being sat, no one came by for over 15 mins (10:20pm). Again, appreciate that it was very busy, but just a quick acknowledgement would've made the 15 minute wait much less awkward. When the server came we immediately ordered and asked for water, however, it was not poured for us until 10:45pm, making it over 40 minutes after we sat down until we got tap water.

- Amuse Bouche: Did not receive this dish. Was advertised as a truffle croque, but the food runner delivered it to the table next to us, who initially refused it (they already had one). He told them just to take it because he didn't want to figure it out. We asked our server for another portion but, we were not told until dessert that they didn't have any more.

- Drinks: The signature cocktail was very tasty and arrived promptly.

- 1st course: They ran out of 1 out of 2 of the choices. The beef tartare was well-sized and tasty.

- Main course: There were 2 choices. The filet mignon was excellently cooked, but we were not given a steak knife with it. The fish, the other choice, was a very thin disappointing portion (see pictures).

- Dessert: They ran out of 1 of the 2 choices.

- Bill: It should be noted that they charge a 4% service charge and 20% gratuity automatically. We are happy to pay this but heard some other patrons around us being very shocked so I would suggest the servers letting guests know ahead of time. Due to manager/server error, they accidentally punched in 44% giving us a very nasty surprise when presented with the bill.

I appreciate being understaffed and also being a later seating that things would run out, but to run out of over half of the menu served that day was really disappointing. To be fair this may not translate to regular service, but I'd be wary of coming here wanting a specific dish. The manager did give us a bill discount for the one course not served.

The Valentine's Dinner Preset Meal was overall ok.. Nothing to write home about. The service was slow and not up to usual standards ????. By the time they tried to make it better we were waiting for dessert. 40 mins for water.. another 35 for appetizers and 30 more for the main course. Then the rest of the time waited to be given dessert and the check. Seriously arrived at 6:45pm and left at 10pm (closing).. 15 mins til closing and people were still waiting to be seated.

I got lucky with an incredible experience here! We went on a weeknight for a birthday and it wasn't too busy so service was extremely attentive and the ambiance was perfect for the occasion. Not too loud and perfect for conversation. It was welcoming and intimate with great food to match great company!

The Cognac Flambeed Truffle Pasta is a winner in my book! Really fun to see the pasta being made. The Duck Leg Confit was flavorful and presented well. Not as filling so if you want something light then this is good. The Boeuf Bourignon was similar and more filling. The Mushroom and Truffle Pizza was also good too. Very aromatic!

For dessert, go with the Le Eiffle Tower! So cute and simple, but tasty and a good way to end the meal.

Also, Happy Hour (food and drinks) everyday except Saturday from 5-7! Worth checking out!!

A great place to eat. The escargot and the créme brulee were the must haves. The service was fantastic and a nice ambiance. Our server was very nice and the drinks were great.

Le Petit Paris was a great to go to and enjoy a French meal on my first night in town! I did not have a reservation and was by myself, and though they were busy the door staff still found a seat for me and were very gracious and welcoming.

The server was wonderful, and very attentive even though having worked in restaurants myself I could see she was busy and would've understood if my one-top was kind of an afterthought.

The food was excellent but I would single out the creme brule in particular. I could pick up on the vanilla extract more than in a lot of creme brule and it worked great with the wide variety of fruit that accompanied. I look forward to returning the next time I'm in town.

The food was delicious you have to get their signature truffle pasta it does have cognac in it but the dish was so flavorful and we added chicken to the pasta. The truffle fries were tasty and the calamari with the dipping sauce that they gave us was perfectly paired. Great experience overall!
