All my friends were talking about Republique and we finally got a chance to try it. If you're here for lunch, it's best to stop before noon so you can get ahead of the crowd. It's a small restaurant but it's very popular. You queue, order and paid at the cashier. They will give you the quantity and the waiter will bring the food to your table. They have a good selection of pastries and cakes. The food is delicious. I just love the decor. It's rustic yet chic with high ceilings, very relaxing. Great for friends gathered. Few outdoor seating is available. Street parking or parking.

Little Beast is a lovely restaurant, and has a nice outside space for patio dining. We shared the cheese plate, which came with almonds, truffle honey, and grapes. The chicken liver mousse was a great version, with a springy strawberry glaze. I had the special of the day ..marinated steak with jasmine rice and cipollini onions. The steak was delicious. My dinner companions had the burger- fantastic- and the deconstructed shirt rib banh mi. Just so you know, it is NOT a sandwich! The chicken off the children's menu was perfect for the toddler who was with us.

They have a great craft cocktail list. The sawtooth old-fashioned was great, as was the elderflower gimlet, not too spicy and not too sweet. They have a nice wine list, including the lovely Spanish Dignitat that I had.

Do save room for the Belgian chocolate pudding. By all accounts, quite yummy!

The service was fantastic...very helpful with our little one (yes...they have crayons!)

It was heavenly. I highly recommend dining here.

$26 for a plate of pasta with a handful of tiny chewy scallops. Disappointing. The bread and garlic butter spread were very good. Cocktails were average. Service was fast. Parking difficult. Ambience was east side yuppie Etsy finds.

We went here for the first time this last weekend. A nice relaxing patio atmosphere great for cocktails and conversation. I had the blood orange whiskey sour. As mild a whiskey drink as you'll get. Too mild for my taste but if your a whiskey novice it's a good starter drink to try. The wife got the black currant cosmo. Excellent! We shared the wedge, a burger, and the bread pudding, all very good. Food was all prepared well. Virtually no parking at this place so come a little early and find a space in the neighborhood. I feel a little sorry for folks living nearby. Overall a solid night out

It’s a small, dark house converted into a restaurant. Some people may find this charming, I however did not. A warm dark atmosphere is usually great for a restaurant but being seated so close to other customers, I felt like I had to speak very quietly inside.

The staff are awkward and uninterested, kind of like the menu selection: a handful of vegetarian options, with salmon, steak and burger thrown on for balance. The hostess and our server both did not want to be there and it showed.

Red wine selection was limited to California and Italy, we chose the Italian wine which was excellent but unfortunately served cold, too cold.

The food and drinks came out in a timely fashion considering the amount of customers they had, which was nice. My mom got the salmon and leeks (it was very good, especially the leeks) I got the burger which was BIG and, well, a burger. No real complaints about the food or quality thereof; they have good food here.

Overall, reading all the comments had me really looking forward to eating here, but after having it myself, it’s nothing to write home about. I’d say don’t believe the hype. I’d even recommend Malbec Market down the street if you want a step up in quality, options, & service for the same price, without the pretentiousness, or wait.

Stopped in tonight (Friday) for dinner for my first time and had a very pleasant experience. I'm not in Eagle Rock often so it's always nice to mix up areas where you eat, it's probably my favorite part of dining in LA; all the amazing options in every direction. The look of it is a smaller bungalow style home with lights strewn all around which really makes a dreamy, and romantic vibe. Daniella was a great server and was prompt and polite.

I started off with the wedge salad which had a really nice chipotle dressing to it on the bottom, which is definitely new for me for a wedge but it worked and was delicious. For my entree I had to go with the special which was the California Halibut. It was cooked very well and the portion size was perfect. Honestly I loved the dish but wish the side with it was different, leeks aren't my favorite but I still ate most of them. Topped off the meal with the brioche bread pudding and it was moist and hit the spot. I chose to not get the ice cream with it and honestly the creme fraiche on top was the perfect combo. Price was fair as well. The parking lot is enough for about 2 cars, 1 of which being handicapped, but I was able to find parking close across the street.

I would recommend to anyone and it would especially be a good call for a date or a gathering with friends.

Great place to eat. I got the special of the day which was the pork tenderloin and it was delicious. Had a tequila Mexican mule and it was refreshing and delicious just the right amount of alcohol. Great vibe I would recommend to anyone on a date or as a group outing.

The food and drinks were delicious! We got the mac and cheese, burger, and fried chicken. Would definitely recommend all three! I would have the mac and cheese for every single meal if I could.
