Fabulous. Delicious food and snacks, great selection of wines, great atmosphere, tastefully selected crockery. Great staff. Walking through the center and peeking for a glass - perfect! The main thing is to have a place.

This restaurant is definitely a vibe and ideal for larger parties. The music play list is great (maybe too loud) and the food was good! Highly recommend ordering the guacamole and Carne Asada!

The food was good and the drinks were strong! I ordered the cheesey chorizo dip, and was expecting a queso fundido type thing, but it was more like nacho cheese. Still pretty good. The Jamaica margarita was my favorite out of the few and got us pretty buzzed. The portions were extremely small for how much the dishes cost, but that isn't too surprising considering the location. I just wish I knew ahead of time it would be so little food, and no rice and beans included with the dish. The carne asada plate was like a 3 oz portion on top of a scoop of corn for $33. The mole chicken enchiladas were amazing, but again, it was 2 enchiladas on a plate almost 25 bucks.

I came here for happy hour and it was absolutely incredible. They had an extensive happy hour menu such as poke tacos with jicama, beautiful cocktails, queso to dip, and calabasas like mom used to make. It was a little overpriced, but I enjoyed everything there. They also had a delicious carnitas taco that was incredible and I live in ELA! Well done, cute ambiance! Also, just go for the valet. Parking sucks.

Food was incredible, tried 3 different dishes with my friends and each was delicious and well presented.
The spicy margaritas were also quite good

We've been to their sister restaurant Yxta and loved it, so were excited to try Mercado as we love Mexican food. The host and other staff were super friendly. Their guacamole, same recipe served at Yxta, is exceptional. The flavors and freshness is outstanding.
We tried the Dip Duo so we could try the choriqueso and still have the guacamole. Perfect combo, the choriqueso was delicious.
I ordered the carnitas plate and the meat was exceptional; super moist and juicy, portions melted in your mouth. I choose the corn tortillas and you could tell they were homemade. So good.
I had the Newest Piña cocktail - loved it!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be going back.

The Mercados are one of my favorite restaurants in LA. The quality and flavor of their food is unparalleled. You can understand that from the plain chips and guacamole. They are to die for. My favourite dish of theirs is the carnitas. I am mindblown every single time by the tenderness and flavor of the meat. Even their tortillas are incredible. To top it off they have some incredible and innovative cocktails. Super highly recommended.

Excellent Happy Hour here on a Tuesday . Really glad I came here . Got a Mercado Margarita from the HH menu for $8 but the special Guava margarita was really special ! Get that one , it has a depth of flavor .Get the grilled fish tacos appetizer . Be sure to ask for the grilled one, it had a delicious charcoal grill taste as did my salmon main dish with good mashed potatoes. This place is a cut above the rest Get the flan for dessert , it had a strong rum sauce on it . This thing was delicious ! The waiters are really nice too. Definite 5 stars for the service .

They make great spicy cucumber margaritas and guacamole! The carne asada tacos are okay, it’s strips of meat not chopped up. (That’s why they get one star off) Love the outdoor/indoor seating.
