Classic French bistro food. Service was great and really enjoyed our meal. I had the steak frites, my daughter had the croque madame, and started with the escargots which were delicious. My other daughter had the omelet which wss fluffy and beautiful. The desserts were amazing. The meal was so reminiscent of meals I've had in France. Although I'd say this is a bit pricier but still very good.

Was very much looking forward to eating here while visiting Los Angeles, but unfortunately very disappointed. Very pricey for not so great food. Very nice and accommodating staff but not happy about my visit.

The escargot was very good but the ham sandwich was bland and the muscles were just ok. The trout looked good when I saw other dinners order it and I wish I had tried that instead

Great service. I sat outside and had a very attentive waitress. The burger is amazing, probably the best I've had in LA so far. The negroni vert is a perfect pair with the burger.

Came in on 4/22 with a reservation at 4. Frequent diner to this establishment. Food always amazing, but this time around, the service was trash. For some reason my waiter just randomly disappeared after giving me my sparkling water. I don’t know if her shift had finished, but wasn’t given notice for a new waiter thus having to wait 20 minutes for the check until the gentleman handling the drinks noticed along with another couple next to me waiting for their check as well. Aside from the cooks and the bartender, the other workers had an end of shift atmosphere, very lackadaisical. That 18% gratuity is a joke after having service like that. I’d have tipped had I known who tf my waiter was.

Even though it's supposed to be a neighborhood bistro the staff's attention to when to bring out the appetizers and larger plates is greatly appreciated.

We would've never been able to eat all of it, but they gave us plenty of time to talk, eat and enjoy our drinks. It was more formal service and it was wonderful.

Always get the Big Mec. Always.

We made an early stop here and wow. So delicious. Beet salad and butternut squash soup for me and a carrot salad for my dining partner. All of it excellent. I also had a drink "Le Tiki Tigre" which tasted more delicious than I care to admit.

Thank god for Petit Trois. Thank god there are still restaurants that do it right and deliver perfectly what they know they do best. A treat of a meal and the whole vibe of the place generous, confident, and attentive. Nice wine list. Killer steak frites. Great desserts. They have amaro. They are dependable in their delivery of consistently vibrant flavors and deft, friendly service. I love them. More like them please.

I really wanted to love Petit Trois - a tiny French restaurant that seems to offer some pretty authentic sounding dishes, owned by a famous chef. What's not to love, right?

Unfortunately our experience was quite far from perfect. Don't get me wrong, the food had some strong high notes at times and the staff was friendly and helpful but we did also hit on certain problems with what was on offer which affected the whole experience - mainly due to the inconsistencies with the dishes.

As an appetizer we ordered the escargot which came with a hot, half-baguette; a tasty combination. Once the mains arrived though we were a bit taken aback. My filet was cooked perfectly and the sauce was good though the frites were lukewarm, bordering on cold and definitely on the soft side. The Croque Madame was way too heavy while the pork chop actually was another strong effort. We finished with a fig tart which was also tasty.

Overall, I don't necessarily feel bad for spending the money we spent for the brunch at Petit Trois. I just wish the experience was good enough for me to look forward to another visit - it unfortunately was not.

Loved the food and the very cozy atmosphere inside. Listening to the chef's banter and the bartender shake cocktails was a blast. They have an extensive cocktail menu and the bartender was really good at improvisation as well. Try the endive anchovies salad!
