High quality meat in a new, modern setting where they cook the meat for you, you don’t have to yourself. I will admit other reviews are right that the staff could be more polite and explain the items/options more, but I’m a frequent flier to Asian restaurants of all types so I already expected that to happen so I wasn’t as upset as others since I predicted and planned for that experience.

We chose the Brisket (some of the best I’ve had @ BBQ and definitely my favorite option), the bulgogi which was also delicious, the spicy chicken (this one was so so I could have gone without because it wasn’t as crispy or seasoned as I prefer), and the jumbo shrimp (very tasty with all the chili dips and sauces).

It’s more expensive that other Korean BBQ options close by, but I would say the meat quality is higher and I really liked how clean it was on the inside. Sitting near the entrance can be a challenge when it’s windy because the smoke will get in your face a lot but it’s all part of the experience. Overall very good and I would recommend to any BBQ fan.

Excellent Spot for Korean Barbeque! I like that they cook it for you too. Lots of side dishes and the flavors are all there for everything! We got the combo 2 and it was a great recommendation from our server. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating!

We (2) went there on Mother’s Day for lunch, line with 50+ people was already form before they open at 11 am. We were seated at 11:30. Side dishes are free and delicious, We ordered ala carte: brisket, pork belly, beef tongue (I know), bulgogi and kimchi fried rice. There are assorted veg, steam egg and cheese for you to dip whatever you want. We end up taken quite a bit home. Good food, like it alot.

I've been to Korean bbq before but my nieces who were visiting from out of state it was their first time and my first time here. Service was great...our server was new and in training but he did a great job. We had beef combo, spicy chicken and short ribs. It was plenty for 5 of us. The kimchee fried rice was delicious. It is busy and congested with parking hard to come by. We got lucky and found street parking.

Decent kbbq but pricey for what it was. Mixed quality of meats. Got the combo 2 for sharing between 2 people (definitely just enough for two and not three, unlike their suggested 2-3 people recommendations).
The short rib was definitely the highlight. Really juicy and nicely seasoned.
The pork jowl was second. Good with the ssamjang sauce and had a good balance of fatty and meaty.
The beef belly was ok but not memorable. Good with sauces but didn't really have much going for itself without them.
The bulgogi was too sweet. Tasted like it had too much sugar laced on it. Was also ultra thin (more than normal) so dipping it in anything would overwhelm the actual meat taste.

Plentiful side dishes and the service was really good. Someone cooks the meats for you here and there are plenty of people making sure your meals is going smoothly.

It is on the pricier side of kbbq, however, it’s completely worth it. We come here every time we are in LA! Even my mom loved it! Absolutely delicious. The waiters are always so attentive and are very knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend!

Staff were so nice and service was fast. The side dishes were so good, we liked the broccoli. We ordered a quarter pound of brisket, belly and chicken teriyaki which were perfect for me and my mom.

My friend wanted to eat here so bad we came to Chapman market 3 times until we got in. I think it was worth the wait and every penny. The waitlist can take up to 45 minutes so once you are seated you will be hungry. We ordered lots of meats and what was the most memorable was the chicken wings, the nachos with beef, the thin slices of beef, and the kimchi fried rice (this was so good I kept going back to it). It was a little pricey but if you are in the area, save up and give this place a try. (3 of us ate, we spent about $120 and had left over food and ate until we couldn't).

Quarters is my go-to Korean BBQ place. Even though I've only been to two in LA, the reason for that is because I can't find any faults at Quarters and just keep coming back.

Every time I visit, I always get one of the combos and don't get to try much more of the other menu items. However, each combo comes with a wide variety of side dishes as well as steamed egg and a soup, and the portion size seems perfect every single time. On top of all of that, they also give you a bowl of cheese fondue to dip the meat in. Personally not my thing, but some of my friends also love it.

One additional thing I'd mention is that Quarters doesn't take reservations, but if you go at some off peak hours, the wait isn't too bad, and they also have a really nice waiting area as well.

I really enjoyed all of the food that we had! The cuts were extremely fresh and tender. The kimchi fried rice and glass noodles are a must if you like spicy food! They don’t take reservations so prepared to wait.

However, I didn’t give them a 5 star is because they make you feel like you have to rush and eat quickly. They cook all the food for you so you have to pace yourself according to how quickly they cook to ensure that the food doesn’t become overcooked or get cold. Near the end of your meal, the servers are all staring at you until you get up so that they can clear the table for the next set of guests. Not the most welcoming feeling. It is quite pricey so I would’ve like to enjoy the meal and experience more.
