A pricey visit but personally felt it was absolutely worth it for the pastries and beautiful environment. There is a line but it moved quickly for us, we arrived around 9am Saturday morning and were able to be inside in 5 minutes. However when we left an hour later the line was down the block!

Immediately entering you can view all the delicious pastries and baked goods available, which they don’t list in their online menu. You cannot go wrong with any of your choices!! After you order it’s first come first serve for seats - another reason why coming early works well. The line does move quickly and you may be asked to order before you get the chance to look at everything on display - don’t be afraid to ask for more time :)

We also ordered items from their breakfast menu and coffees - which was delicious but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat again with so many other breakfast choices in LA. I genuinely thought I scammed myself for ordering the mushroom toast lol but it ended up being very filling and a new delicious experience. But all that said, the baked goods and pastries are really a treasure and eating them in this gorgeous high ceiling, open air architectural beauty of a building was an amazing way to start the weekend.

Love the food and atmosphere. I reached at around 11am and there was a long queue. However, the queue moved pretty fast, where orders were taken before finding a seat.

Was it worth the wait? Definitely yes but just make sure you are not queuing when you are absolutely starving. ????

Ordered the salmon with potato pancake, french toast and the mushroom toast.

The avocado toast was also very good and lighter than the mushroom toast. I love how it wasn’t just plain avocado, and the balance of the seasonings were just right.

The mushroom toast has a wild blend of textures and flavors. To complement a crunchy, crispy toast, fluffy and light scrambled eggs are delicately placed on top. The mushroom toast was flavorful and very rich.

The food is phenomenal. We stopped here on our cross-country trip. I'm just loving it, I would love to come again.

Overall experience was great, the interior lay out is pretty unique,a great place for photos. I ordered a Today’s quiche and a Croque Madame. The ingredient’s quality are high, but flavor profile was not my cup of tea. Their flavor is more on the bland side. I was expecting the savory ham to stand out when I bite into the sandwich. However, the grease from the cheese and the toasted bread coated my taste buds before I can taste the ham. The side salad was a bit too acidic with the combination of shallots, sea salts, and lemon juice. This is a great place for people who pursues simple flavors and extremely fresh ingredients.

This scoring might surprise those of you who's tried this place, so I'll immediately give the reason for such a mediocre rating: the ceiling leaked! While LA isn't a particularly rainy city, eating in the main hall while having rain drip down to your food and drinks is... Not a particularly pleasant experience.

If I were to judge purely on the food experience and on normal days this place doesn't have much to say except for being quite excellent, well furnished and comfortable to have brunch in. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place whatsoever for any rainy days. Hopefully the can fix the roof leak soon.

I tried their banana poppy seed cake, the texture was great, not too greasy but moist enough????????. Croissant is well made also, must try.

You will see a long queue outside of the restaurant but surprisingly don’t need to wait for a long time.

The crab omelet is a must, the egg is well seasoned & cooked, plenty of crabmeat, so soft but no runny egg yolk????????

We have never had Pupusa before, this is our first. We like how they layer the flavors for this dish.

My son had the traditional breakfast plate, he enjoyed the bacon steak, which is steak style. We saw some people leave the whole bacon steak on the plate, maybe they expected thinner crispy bacon? They cook the potatoes so nice, crispy outside and tender inside????

We like this restaurant very much. We wants to go for dinner but we couldn’t make it on this trip. If I come back to LA again, this restaurant will be one of my must-visit places.

A really nice brunch place to visit —- the food is good, but I personally think the coffee is just okay.
I got the citrus salad and cold brew coffee. The salad is really fresh, and everything goes well with each other. If you like sour flavor, you will enjoy this salad. The mint in the salad is very refreshing, and the nut just piles up the flavor.
The cold brew is just regular cold brew from my point of view; it’s not bad, but I think you can get better coffee elsewhere with the price.
You can see the place is well-organized.

Delicious pastries and breakfast. Service was quick and attentive. The line was understandably long, but kept moving along. It is busy on Saturday mornings. Plan to wait in line for at least 25 minutes. Silverware is given out by request instead of being left on the table, cleanliness is not a concern. The lobster omelette, chia seed pudding and the ricotta toast were yummy. The fruit tart was great, but the spherical, puffy pastry with the chocolate filling was dense and average.

Overall a wonderful experience! They were very accommodating from the beginning when we were running late to our dinner reservation and we were seated very quickly afterwards. The ambiance is a beautiful relaxed vibe that certainly feels like you are outdoors. Can get a tad noisy.

The food and service overall were great. We got the baguette with pan drippings, lettuce salad, scallops, grilled prawns, and duck. The warm baguette was delicious - though I wish they had served it alongside the salad so I didn’t have to stuff myself with bread first until we finished all the bread… so I was already a bit full to fully savor and enjoy the rest of the dishes.

The salad was very delicious! The avocado slices in there were the perfect texture and freshness. The scallops were good, but I thought could have used a bit more searing. The prawns were so tasty and I loved the slightly charred taste - however not a personal fan of the prawn eggs that were attached to all the prawn pieces (some folks may love them, just not my thing). The duck was good, but didn’t think it was remarkable, and again my personal preference was for it to be cooked a little bit more (and maybe I should’ve said that to the waiter previously so I don’t fault them for it).

Overall a pleasant and casual vibe, great place for date nights.

Holy desserts! They have way more options for desserts than what is listed on their menu. Highly recommend going here for breakfast or brunch, especially if you have a sweet tooth!

Hands down, favorite dessert that we had was their Black Sesame Pastry. Sooooo delicious with floral accents and cream. Totally delicious. Another favorite was the Coconut Lime and Passion Fruit Tart--very sweet and tropical and paired well with some tea.

They usually have a line so a little bit of a wait sometimes, but you pay and seat yourself. We got there around 9 and it wasn't too crowded yet. Around 10 definitely picks up!
