Robert himself seated us and took great care of our meal. The restaurant space may be smaller than expected, but it’s decorated beautifully with linen tablecloths and chair covers. Every dish was delicious, with hearty servings for leftovers to take home. Service was wonderful, and we cannot wait to go back.

One of the best hole-in-the-walls in Hollywood. Outdoor seating available. Delicious, savory food like cheese vareniki and borsch and lamb shish kabobs + many vegetarian options too. Warm & friendly service from the owner and always several groups of animated, jovial Russians congregated

Well if you came all the way to my review I’m sure you must know by now that this location is one of the best if not the best in Hollywood everything is traditional everything is delicious and the staff in-service in peccable there are no words that can tell you how great of a place it is until you try it I’ve been eating here since I was a child and every time I Eat here it always takes me back to my childhood please try anything in you’ll never be disappointed thank you Robert’s Russian cuisine for always taking care of the community and for your great delicious eats

I love to stumble upon new restaurants. And this is one of the reasons. I had no ideal what I was getting into. But the restaurant was full which is always a good sign. And when everyone is speaking a foreign language that is an added bonus. I only had time for a salad and beer but the menu looks very good and I have to return to try a full dinner because my crab salad and Armenian beer was superb. They were all out of Russian beer which for a Russian restaurant i thought that was a bit odd????????♂️ but hey I will be back

Wonderful solid home cooked food. Generous, reasonable portions that tasted great and were extremely filling. The pelmeni were cooked perfectly al dente with delicious filling The kebabs had a wonderful grilled flavor the lamb and the chicken and particular were divine! If you're looking for a home cooked meal that's a little bit different and you're not usually eating Russian food this is definitely a great place to try. The only thing we wished we had time for was the tea with sour cherries, which probably was amazing too.

Superior cuisine! The food was phenomenal and inexpensive for its quality. The atmosphere and service were good. The borscht was delicious and reminded me of my grandmothers borscht recipe she brought from Poland. Their chicken is excellent and their kabob outdoes even the beat Persian/Mediterranean restaurants. Highly recommend this place!!

Few Russian dishes, the rest is more like Soviet cuisine. I would have to say the food is great, I had the lamb shank which was cooked to perfection however, the stewed vegetables made the dish very normal not special. At least I wasn't disappointed. We also had the lamb chops, marination was off, but cooked perfect. Salt and peppers only would do. Beef cutlet was awesome, and so was the soups. We had the Russian red soup, and mushroom soup (Dill weed lovers) The dumplings had a strong cilantro taste, but that's just me. On the upper side the ALL STAR DISH of the day was the Russian Salad! Will come again whenever we are in LA just for that salad.

Love the lamp shank, eggplant starter, music and the staff. Really nice food at affordable price. Great selection of drink at amazing price...
