Overall Rating

Service was outstanding.

Food was impressive.

For 3 people with 2 bottles of wine, total cost was $350

Book your reservation inside, outside is a bit stiff.

Only issue that I didn’t like was the 4% surcharge they take from you to give to their kitchen staff that you see on the receipt.

I love vibes, I love amazing quality food, I love alcohol, and I freaking love amazing service. Sadly didn't make a reservation but no worries I was not going to leave empty handed. They gave us an amazing bar experience. We had an amazing bartender, Noah thank you for keeping us entertained and taking us on a drinking journey. This place hit all the right spots. JUST GO AND EXPERIENCE THIS!

Food - started with Ede's market salad, seafood fritto misto, and valbruna's eggplant. Everything was super fresh and delicious for us. I really enjoyed the salad which tasted great with just enough dressing so you could enjoy the diff fresh veggies. The fritto misto was fried perfectly and we preferred one sauce over the other, but overall a fabulous choice to start.

We went with the olympia's tagliatelle and the ilario's grigliata - bone in pork chop as our mains. The tagliatelle pasta was so delicate and perfect, we were very happy with our choices and the pork chop was amazeballs! Tender and juicy and crispy on the outside! Exactly what I was picturing while ordering!

We finished off with the hazelnut gelato and Meyer limon sorbet desserts. I loved the Meyer lemon sorbet!

BUT... I have to say... This is some of the best service I have ever experienced in years! Thank you so much to everyone top to bottom, from the host to our server, Mr. Michael and more! I was thoroughly impressed by the entirety of my experience! Thank you to you guys for making my 45th bday ????!!! Smiles from everyone made me smile and my tummy smile, and my wife smile, and my baby girl smile!

Market salad and the tortelloni are recommended. Good drinks and service. Plenty of street parking but the valet might be easier if you don't want to leave your car on the street.

Considered to be one of Los Angeles’ quintessential Restaurants since 2017 Rossoblu has managed to succeed despite a humble backstory, Chef Steve Samson’s childhood summers in Bologna combining with his love of Southern California in an industrial Dining Room with service that is casual yet thoroughly charming.

Currently with a covered outdoor patio during mask mandates, vaccine-cards checked before being offered a table between large murals and a golden bar, Rossoblu immediately feels high end despite modest pricing that extends from Wine to Food including everything from handmade Pasta to Samson’s “Superfine Pizza.”

An homage of sorts to Emilia-Romagna, the menu well-edited and prone to change, decisions do not come easy in terms of how to order, though Valbruna’s Eggplant proves worthy of its signature status as gently cooked slices dance amidst what might otherwise be a very competent Caprese.

Lower in terms of volume than other LA eateries though music turns up as sun goes down, the Rossoblu Bread Basket is adequate albeit a bit pricey with Anchovy Butter outpacing the other two Condiments and slices better saved for scarpetta of Sauces such as Bechamel brightened by Citrus atop Baked Fazzoetti.

Dedicating a section of the menu “en Brodo,” mixed Pork inside Tortellini better than most in Italy thanks to Broth that is clean and clear, Pizza here eats far better than from the Superfine window as crust forms a robust cornicione around bright Sauce, mixed Onions, Smoked Mozz, Mushrooms and Garlic.

A mix of local and imported ingredients, “Olimpia’s Tagliatelle” standing out thanks to al dente ribbons and just enough Bolognese made from whole animals butchered downstairs plus “dry-aged Beef Fat,” be sure not to overlook thicker Maltagliati as a canvas to Pioppini Mushrooms, Saba and bitter Greens.

Keeping Dessert simple, no fancy plating for the #gram, Rossoblu’s Apple Crostata falls short of others as a result of Apples too firm and room-temperature service while Olive Oil Cake with a sugared top is toothsome yet delicate and good on its own, but better dragged through creamy Ricotta.

This place is amazing !!! We walked in and the server Colin greeted us with a big smile and went over the menu and explained the food comes when it’s ready. Colin made great suggestions and was on top of our service all night. The bread was 1/2 a loaf and the spreads for them were out of this world. The salad had perfect amount of dressing and delicious the pork meatballs were on a skewer and just perfect. The best part of the night was the enormous pork chop! It was bigger than the serving dish. Cooked juicy and flavorful
The chicken and sausage was great too! The cooked greens a perfect match

The area around Rossoblu is awesome, very clean and just reminds me of parts of Spain. The waiters were nice and the area around the restaurant was spaceous. They put a large tent over the front part of the restaurant which greatly boosted the seating capacity. They also offer pizzas that are offered by a pizza joint that's walking distance away. Good food!

Our server (Susannah) was great - very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. She was also great for recommending cocktail and wine pairing for our food.

The ambiance was pretty solid. We came for our anniversary dinner, and there were a lot of people still but we felt like the tables outdoors were appropriately distanced. Stylish and modern. Very inviting.

The food was delicious. We got the market salad, grilled pork meatballs, oysters, brodo and maltagliati.

The salad was crisp and savory dressed with a lemon vinaigrette. The meatballs were flavorful and the oysters were buttery sage goodness. All those served as a great appetizer. The brodo is like a soup with parmigiano reggiano dumplings that was great as a palate cleanser before we ended with the Maltagliati pasta. Overall a great experience and the food was delicious. We would definitely come back.

Excellent Italian food in a serene setting. Really went all out with my friend and had no buyers remorse haha. Food was all fantastic, wine list was great too. Service was perfect. I’ve been wanting to try brodo for a long time and it was worth the wait… enjoy!
