My man and I are having a delightful time at the Little Door. The vibe here is immaculate. The service is exceptional. All the dishes we ordered are scrumptious and beautifully presented. The drinks/aperitifs and desserts are splendid too. We love the romantic atmosphere, dimmed lighting (+candlelit), enchanting space, dreamy and charming decorative roses. Such a divine evening, it’s marvelous for our special date night together & celebrating love with my lover.

Also, worth mentioning as “the most romantic restaurant in LA” for couples; a well-deserved recognition in my opinion.

Sophisticated and ultra-chic, plants in abundance. The place attracts smart, well dressed and upscale crowds. The service was attentive and efficient. The environment was fast paced, the food was delicious and distinct. One of the best high end restaurants in LA, in my opinion.

DUCK FAT ROASTED & CHARRED CABBAGE: anchovy tarragon vinaigrette, pickled grapes: the cabbage was okay despite all the extra efforts, grapes and dill were added to balance the flavors. Duck fat didn't help either. Well, I have to admire them for trying to be creative.

BLACK MUSSELS--spiced curry broth, crispy chickpeas: zesty creamy and herby sauce made it so delicious and unique. It was so good that we kept the sauce until we finished the whole meal.

COUSCOUS "ROYALE"
lamb stew, lamb chop, chicken, merguez sausage, harissa, onion confit: the portions were huge, meat were tender, the sauce was great.

SEVEN VEGETABLE COUSCOUS
kohlrabi, red peppers, carrot, turnip, zucchini, kabocha squash, rutabaga: a very vibrant Moroccan sauce was the real selling point here. Vegetables were well cooked and reeked of health. Highly recommended.

SEARED SEA BASS
capers & yellow raisin purée, gazpachuelo, chervil oil,
cauliflower variations: purée, pan-roasted, crumbled: sea bass was tender with interesting flavor profile.

We reserved through openTable and had the Christmas dinner. I ordered smoked salmon for the appetizer, steak for the entree, and bread pudding for the dessert. The serving size is pretty large. For the appetizer, they served light tomato sauce and 3 to 4 pieces of smoked salmon with a really thick cut. The entree had a steak with truffle mashed potatoes and a rich sauce. The dessert I had bread pudding, which had the soft bread with a strong cinnamon taste.

We thought the the restaurant was famous for its romantic ambiance, but it turned out the food is really good too. I would definitely recommend it!

I honestly thought it was gonna be more expensive. Amazing ambiance, great music without overpowering conversation at all, perfect volume. Food was just amazing both for price and just period. Would definitely come again. Good for groups or dates.

You don't need me to tell you this place is good - just Google search this place and you'll find plenty of others spouting it's praises. Great ambiance, fantastic service, and the food - oh my lord the food!

Brought my girlfriend here for our anniversary. We had the steak tartare for an app and it was really delicious. For Entree, she had the surf and turf - steak cooked to perfection, great lobster tail and veggies with a truffle mashed potatoes. I had the truffle risotto which we both are still talking about. It's was magical.

Everything about this place is great - oh, make sure to treat yourself to their Moroccan Mint Tea. Amazing stuff!

Most romantic restaurant in LA. Might not look like a big deal from the outside, but when you walk in the environment turns into a fairytale setting. The service and food are superb - I had the lamb as the main entree and it was truly one of the best lambs I have ever had. The menu is a little limited, however there is no way to go wrong with any item you order.

Short and simple; Excellence from beginning to end. Truly a dining experience I won’t forget. From the Mezze platter to the Sea Bass I was left in awe. The decor and vibe of the restaurant was exactly as one expected after reading all of the amazing reviews beforehand.

The food is amazing, the waiters are very nice and the appetizers are delicious. The only complaint is that one receptionist tried to make us sit at a table full of leaves at beginning, which was eventually changed, but we think they should take care about that more. We still highly recommend this restaurant because of the high quality food and service. Must try the lamb chops and duck fat cabbage! The desserts are definitely on point!Try Creme Brûlée! It is creamy and smooth!
