Came looking for Salvadoran fusion cuisine and that's exactly what I got. I tried El Volcán and it was delicious! El Volcán is a Pupusa Revuelta with a scrambled egg, rice and beans, and your choice of meat.

The Chef and Owner is very friendly and attentive as were the waitress.

Personally I will come again to try more from the menu. I highly recommend this place. Don't expect your typical Salvadorean dish as this is meant to be different.

We ate at here a few months ago while on vacation, and it was some of the best food I have ever had! And the owner is one of the sweetest women ever. Felt like we were family being welcomed in her home. If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal, you will not regret it! I will for sure be going back on the next trip in LA.

It was my first time trying out Salvadorian food, I almost picked another place for breakfast, but I’m happy I didn’t, the food was delicious. I tried 3 different entrees, the papusas, the garnaches, and el vulcan. and all of them were amazing! The service was a solid 10/10. I highly recommend grabbing a agua fresca on the way out too! Will definitely be going back soon!

Absolutely wonderful! Never even had or heard of a pupusa before, so I gave it a try, and was not disappointed!! They are amazing! They are like nothing I've ever had! When she was asking me how hot I wanted it, she asked with a chuckle, "Do you wanna cry out of one eye or two?" We laughed, and I said, one. Then, as I was eating them and she came over to check on us, I told her I was crying out of both eyes - one because it was delightfully spicy, and the other was tears of joy! We laughed again!
The facility was very clean. Even the restrooms were spic and span, and smelled very nice. That's an important measure of a food place for me. The staff are amazing, and the woman behind the counter is about the sweetest human being I've ever met. Will absolutely be going back!

We are from San Diego looking for a tasty place to have lunch. This was the best food I've had in a long time. The food was made fresh from the time you ordered it with clean ingredients from scratch. Pupusas are wonderful the way she made them with a variety of add ins. Head chef is truly gifted at what she does.

TDLR: found my new fav. brunch spot! My friends and I originally were going to a different brunch spot and came upon this, and tried it out. The portion sizes here are out of control! We got full from one bite of pupusas but kept on grabbing for more.
The owner is so sweet, and she treats her customers like her own children. She gave us large refills for our black coffees & extra side dishes!

Return: Most definitely!

Was visiting my family for the weekend and decided to check out this place after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed!! The owner was so welcoming and friendly, the food was delicious and the drinks were a must! She came by every few minutes to check on us and my family was overjoyed by the service! Can’t wait to come back here.

Visiting LA for a few days and found this place from google maps. Loved what the reviews said so I decided to try it. Oh my goodness I was not disappointed. The food is incredible and so flavorful. The iced coffee I ordered was in a huge mason jar and so delicious. The owner is so sweet too. She came up to me and thanked me for supporting her business during covid. Definitely will be coming back to this little hidden gem.
