In town from Texas and my son wanted pizza - after searching a bit settled on this and did not regret. Beautiful location with fun Hollywood sign view and really great pizza/salad/bread.

They close at 8:30, not 9 like it says. Clearly they can’t be bothered to update it. They won’t seat you after 8, and they basically get an attitude with you for the heinous crime of coming when Google says they’re open and wanting to sit on a chair to eat a few slices of their pizza.
Great customer service! Not.

There is an old lady out front taking the orders and everytime I’ve came she is so condescending and rude. But I’ve kept coming because I’ve liked the pizza but today was the last time because I tried to pay with change that I had dollar bills and quarter and I didn’t have anything else, so I could pay the rest with my card and she refused it saying, “we don’t make any money off of that” “why would I take this” and refused me paying. When I’ve visited before she talked to white customers so sweetly but to a Latina she was disrespectful , so if you are a person of color would not recommend you going here, they will look down on your money.

Pizza was great but I ordered a pie with Extra Cheese it really wasn't Extra Cheese and paid $28. This is Extra Cheese from Manhattan in NYC. I will be back to Village Pizza tho. Thanks

Bad food, worse customer service. A better sandwich can be had up the street at Larchmont Village Wine, Spirits & Cheese. Otherwise, set your expectations below Jersey Mike's or Jimmy Johns

The wait staff could be trained up so it can manage the assignment of tables without letting customers know that smaller parties are less valued.

The proprietor likes to argue with customers on social media. This is an interesting tactic in a city with many other options..

My cheese pizza was overcooked. Tough and dry. Also, you're able to see the Italian spices on most New York pizza. I came home and sprinkled Italian seasoning to make it tastier. To be honest, my pizza looked like a little Caesars pizza. Overrated and overpriced and short on cheese

I decided to look for a new local pizza place and try to support a local business instead of ordering from a national chain. There is no online ordering - which I'm used to at this point - but calling in my order was quick and easy. Pick up was safe w/ a register at the door and your order brought out to you. The pizza itself was delicious. It's thin and completely NY style. I had a standard pizza w/ sausage and jalapeños. I greatly enjoyed it. Will definitely be making this our local pizza joint.

Superb pizza and a particular New York -style ambience. Very friendly staff. Larchmont village is just an incredible which makes the trip over there even more rewarding. If you’re not feeling too guilty, then hop in next door for some of the best ice cream. The only downside is that the space is somewhat small.

Best New York style pizza in LA! I have not found a pizza joint like this in town and the service was great. The owner is always around and super nice.
