Excellent food. Definitely a must to try and experience. Beautiful location and scenery. Waitress Ocean was amazing at doing her job and highly recommended. Well deserved tip.
This is no cheap place by any means but definitely worth it. Food flavors exploded inside the mouth as different taste palettes activated simultaneously.
Will come back no doubt next time we arrive to LA.
Simply beautiful and elegant.

Food was okay. We all had the Filet Mignon with Shrimp. It was decent, but mine was a tad overcooked and over seasoned. Our server was good, but he had too many tables to manage. We ordered the Pineapple fried rice and it was brought to us without a serving spoon or cup/plates to eat from. I had to help myself from the serving station. The portions were small as well. That said you are paying for the atmosphere and the views which are great. It was worth visiting at least once.

I'm thinking that we just caught them on a bad night. There was a huge party taking over most of the restaurant so I expect that their best servers were working that event.
We only had a short wait with our reservation, but once we got to our table things didn't go well. We waited and waited for our drinks and had to ask our server 3 times to also get a coke.
The pork dumplings appetizer tasted like it came out of a box from the grocery store or it was prepared the day before and barely warmed up before serving.
Both of our entrées were also served almost cold, and my medium rare steak was well done (and still almost cold). The mashed potatoes were cold. We waited for a really long time to get our server's attention again (he disappeared) to order dessert and cocktails, and then waited again for the check. The views and ambiance were really spectacular, but overall we left feeling disappointed.
We will give them another try in the future.

Unforgettable experience and delicious food. We got seated earlier than our reservation time which was pleasantly unexpected. The calamari was fresh and crispy, the dragon roll was classic, but the spicy prawn noodles stole the show. The cocktails were great, although I can’t remember for the life of me what they were called.

Our waitress was amazing! She was attentive, extremely helpful with good suggestions, and even gave us a small cheesecake and parfait as a birthday treat. She was 5-stars all around.

The views are incredible. The restaurant overlooks a hill, and it’s themed to a traditional Japanese style. Parking for us was valet, so I can’t speak for self-parking. Great restaurant, and I would return again.

Excellent restaurant, in a great location, with no less amazing views! All of Hollywood and Beverly Hills is in front of you. Must arrive by car. The place is clean, the service is meticulous and professional in a young atmosphere.
The dishes I tasted were balanced, rich in flavors and in keeping with the modern Japanese style so prevalent today. In conclusion, this is a wonderful place to have a Japan style diner and highly recommended.

5 stars without a doubt!

DO NOT GO WITHOUT A RESERVATION ????. This was recommended by a friend and due to a mix up our reservation for 8:15 pm was never recorded. So we show up, handed car to Valet parking, walked up , took some time to see the beautiful sight from elevation and was wonderful. Was able to get a drink from the bar and Steven who helped us was very pleasant and didn't charge us for the 3 virgin smoothie drinks he mixed up while I sipped on some Jameson and Ginger Ale, all while looking at the beautiful sight around. My daughter noticed a celebrity social media star present there as a guest and walked up to greet her and was lucky enough to snap a cool picture. All this in about 30 minutes. While we didn't get to taste the food this time around, the experience was still awesome and definitely look forward to a return to dine with confirmed reservations. Valet fees charged at pickup, $12 which is fair and tips are optional. Check out this place and experience it.

Really wanted to love this place - there is a lot of potential for an amazing experience (and I’m sure people have great ones), but it just wasn’t it for us. Let me start by saying that the views, ambiance, and drinks are exceptional. Beyond that, I’d hesitate to recommend.

Our server was trying his best but had far too many tables to adequately run. One of the rolls we ordered took about 45 minutes to come out, much after everything else (happened to the table behind us too). When it did arrive, it had an exceptionally fishy taste - something you don’t want in sushi. The rest of the food was nothing to write home about - you will certainly find higher quality sushi in the area with a bit of research.

Id end with saying that I appreciate that we didn’t have reservations and were seated as a party of 2 in about 25 minutes, as we were in the area spontaneously for my birthday. If you’re looking for an awesome view and drinks, highly recommend. If you’re looking for exceptional food and service, I’d recommend you keep looking.

AMAZING AMAZING place!! Beautiful view, super friendly and attentive staff, delicious, high quality food!!! We reserved at 5 pm, but came early at 3, the bartender kindly showed us the restroom, and we got to walk around the garden. I suggest coming around that time because the sun is still out, people haven't shown up yet, and it is golden hour, so we got some good photos. Also, every day, a nice old man and his dog named "Shy Boy" sit next to the giant Buddha statue to watch the sunset. If you talk to them, you can feed the dog a cookie and look at his garden. There are many beatiful photo spots, indoor and outdoor, with cute doves and fish. The bathrooms are very clean and fancy. If you can't walk down the steps, a staff will lead you to an accessible bathroom.
Indoors, you can walk around the garden, but it isn't well lit at night, so I suggest going in for lunch. However, overall, outdoors is much prettier, especially at night. If it is cold, they have heaters.
We went for our anniversary, and they prepared a special champagne toast and cheesecake with a sparkler. Our food came out really fast and our waiter was very nice. We got food to go as well that is delicious. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely come back!

This restaurant was amazing! Went to a private party and couldn't believe this place. The views were to die for, especially at sunset! They have a beautiful ambience inside and outside with ponds throughout the property. Seating options for inside and outside with heaters so you can enjoy the view all year round. They were hand rolling sushi and it was delicious. The bartenders were so fast and efficient and made some very tasty hibiscus lemon drop martinis! I am definitely coming back here when I return to Cali! The views in themselves will make you return.

Over hyped. Sushi was overpriced and not well made. Rice was mushy, and not seasoned properly. Crispy rice was cold, looked like they just cooked it on a flat top on the bottom. They are not following Covid protocols. We sat inside with our backs touching other people ????????‍♀️. Valet was rude. Cocktails were great and the view was nice so that’s the only reason I would not give one star. Will never come back to eat. Maybe for a drink.
