Their service is great but I would not recommend this place for Japanese food. The portions are fairly large but nothing really tasted great. I got the beef curry and it was way too watery. The flavor is not really there, too much coconut, and jalapeno is out of place in that dish. It seems like they are trying to do a healthy Japanese fusion and I wouldn't recommend it. If you want Japanese food you're better off going to Japan town in sawtelle, little Tokyo, or places on Rowland heights.

The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere. There's a small amount of indoor seating and more tables outdoors. The spicy tuna bowl is a good portion and super tasty. The apple mint lemonade is more like a slushy, which is perfect on really hot days. On another note: they do leave bins for you to bus your table when you finish eating, so please clear off the table when you finish your meal!

I expected a lot more. Yes, the portions are big, but the taste was rather small. The atmosphere itself was nice... Free fruitwater and nice staff is an added plus.

Very cute cottage-y granola-ey hide-away with cool hanging plants and a homemade/DIY vibe. I really wanted to like the food but it was just okay. The rice was hard and the albacore and sushi was okay but it wasn’t a melt in your mouth, memorable eating experience. We tried a few mochiko GF cookies and they were okay. The service was very nice and I like the spa water in carafes, however I probably wouldn’t put this on my must come back list.

The good here feels like something a very hip grandma would make you on your way out for the night. She gave range of flavor and texture. She gave wholesome AND surprising! She gave little soup in a little cup! So adorable

I’m so happy that I finally went to this restaurant! First of all, they have excellent vegan options and sweets, so it wasn’t easy for me to choose exactly what I wanted.

I ended up choosing the Tofu Rice Bowl with a side of edamame. I also selected the Apple Mint Lemonade which was sooooo good!! I’ve never had a lemonade drink this delicious before.

The bowl itself was huge by the way. I’m used to most bowls being cute and small, but this was literally big enough for two people. For that, I am very grateful! It had fried tofu, zucchini, chickpeas, mixed greens and covered in a peanut sauce. Best meal I’ve had this week hands down!

Such huge portions for a healthy and filling rice bowl! Highly recommend the BBQ Catfish since you don't see it too often and super delightful. Full of flavor and fried well with a sweet glaze. It's served over some white rice and a scrumptious salad. The Albacore Garlic Bowl was good too, but more simple since it was sashimi-style. Still yummy, but not on the level as the BBQ Catfish.

We also got the Roasted Squash with Ginger. It was simple, but gave good autumn/winter vibes. Paired well having it with the rice bowls.

Overall, the food here is pretty healthy and delicious. Definitely check it out! Great price point too!

Amazing fresh food!! Lots of gluten free options! I had the sashimi salad which was really big and absolutely delicious. My kids and I had the shrimp rice bowl and it’s huge!! So so good. My whole family loved the food. Super friendly service too.

A small and cozy place. When dining in, you will be surrounded by plants, happy staff, and wall art. Great menus with many delicious choices. I recommend the "big roll" with tempura shrimp, and the "chicken plate" that comes with a large salad. Their bowls are really good as well.
