I was in town visiting my younger brother and he took me to this spot. The food was great! And the portions was HUGE! I was not able to finish everything in one sitting...which meant I was able to enjoy the food a second time as leftovers! The fried catfish literallt melted in your mouth! So good! I would definitely go back.

Good customer service. Food was good. Shrimp and grits were good. Catfish and cheese grits were good. Beignets were just OK.

Would like to try the jambalaya, it looked good.

We'll be back.

Our first visit and we were definitely satisfied with our overall experience. Everyone is friendly, family owned and operated business, the decor has that New Orleans vibe, and even has an outdoor patio to host events. The food was so good! Ordered the oysters. Shrimp po'boy, gumbo and hush puppies, everything tasted delicious...! There is live music on Fridays and even offer comedy nights! What a cool place, we are definitely coming back!

Ordered the Taste of New Orleans and Jazzy Wingettes and a yummy Hurricane. The Hurricane was really nice, not too sweet. The wingettes were ok, they were cooked nicely, tender and juicy inside but there was so little flavor, the voodoo sauce wasn't even a little spicy as I expected. The Taste of New Orleans was delicious! (Minus the catfish or whatever that was). The flavors were so delicious and savory, I gobbled it all up. Its a cute little place with a nice outdoor seating area for us unjabbed folks cause were not allowed inside. lol. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. Pricing is fair. They also have coffee & its located on busy ventura where you can walk up and down the boulevard.

Been wanting to try this place for the past year a little skeptical but we ordered Gumbo, Shrimp Etouffee, Beignets and Peach Cobbler everything was absolutely delicious when you walk in you hear the zydeco music playing it wasn't crowded it was just before lunch time but the customer service was awesome the manager Keith assisted me with an issue with my credit card. He was very pleasant very customer service oriented I would encourage anybody that wants some good down-home New Orleans Food to stop by check them out you won't be disappointed.

The po boy was large but over salted and the oysters didn’t taste very fresh. The drinks were not very strong, very sweet, and jalapeño margarita was not spicy.

The snapper was ok, shrimp was tasty and fresh. The cornbread was the star of the show, fresh made and fluffy.

Overall wouldn’t return
