Brunch drag shows are a MUST. Butter was such a good host and she's funny as hell. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong.

Was physically grabbed and dragged by the arm by security because he thought I skipped the queue. Continued to keep a grab of my arm while he was speaking with the security who checked me in. I.E. unlawfully detained by one of Rocco's employees. Once the other security who was not assaulting me told him that he did check me in, the man let go of me and did not make any effort to communicate or apologise. I believe the security guard (black male security, on the night of 30 Apr 2022) may have been under the influence of substances and was therefore unable to efficiently and correctly do his job, and instead of making patrons feel safe, he physically grabs them, provoking aggressive retaliation (I was ready to swing a punch as I correctly assumed that an assault was occurring). This is all on CCTV so I will file a police report.

I just went in during happy hour and ordered a drink from their happy hour special and the bartender used top shelf liquor and charged me for it. He ignored Me the entire time I was there and I waited forever for him to approach me even though I was literally the only person at the bar and I waiting forever for him to bring me my tab with my over charged drink. His name was Robert. I came in to enjoy happy hour, not be taken advantage of. I left $0 in gratuity

We were not even in the place for more than 10 minutes when we got pickpocketed. My friend had her phone in her FRONT pocket, which was a fairly deep pocket, and someone stole it. I had my wallet in a side pocket in my purse, which was clutched under my arm as it was a shoulder bag, but they still managed to steal my wallet. Apparently this is an already known big issue, but it doesn’t seem like management cares at all from what other reviews have said. It’s really hard to enjoy the rest of your night or want to buy anything from them when your means to pay have been stolen. Safe to say, it was a one and done experience!

Discrimination. We had proof of being here every week but me and four other AFRICAN AMERICAN’S IDs were not accepted. Had multiple forms of identity and bank statements of being at this exact location but still got denials. Told us to come back on Sunday. (Hip hop nights)

DON'T GO HERE, I got my phone pickpocketed out of my purse last night and now have to front the cost of buying a whole new phone. There are signs by the restrooms warning patrons about pickpocketers but I didn't even see those until it was too late. It seems to be a huge problem and if it's so prominent, then management should be reviewing footage (if there even is any) or having internal security to watch the bar's surroundings to try and stop those who are committing property theft. Seems like they are doing the bare minimum.

We went to Rocco's to support a fave queen in her new drag show. I didn't expect much from the venue, tbh -- was excited to see a show but used to subpar food/service, since that's what I'd experienced at another not to be named WeHo drag location. Meanwhile, I could not have been more wrong. From the person who seated us, to the server we had, to the bussers & manager who made change for our $1 bills to tip the girls, the staff were so ... Nice?!? Not only good at what they were doing but just really warm. A restaurant pro and former Hollywood sports bar GM in our large party was also floored and said they thought the service was excellent because the staff weren't all "coked up and drunk" (at least not during the busiest part of service, I hope they had fun later). We split lots of standard bar fare, boneless wings, cheese fries and pizzas, which weren't fancy but tasted great. Our drinks, both alcoholic and non were delicious and refilled promptly. And our small dog was welcomed (and he even tipped the queens, as you should). I'm impressed. The show was that much more fun to see because the whole experience was so pleasant. Thanks Rocco's we loved our visit and we'll be back!

BEWARE -- there are pick pockets here. I got my phone stolen from inside a latched purse and my friend got hers stolen from a pocket on the INSIDE of her jacket that was zipped. Even the bartenders knew there were people stealing phones last night and the owner/manager didn't really seem to care. Do not go here unless you want to have a death grip on your phone all night. There's way cheaper and way better places in the area where you won't get your phone stolen.

They need to get their TV system together if they continue to host a Rupaul Drag Race viewings. Very glitchy and freezes wayyy too often to make it an enjoyable experience.

For food, the Meatball Sub is actually really well done here. A bit on the messier side, but yummy. The wraps are simple and to the point.

For nightlife, it's a good bar to let loose and dance a bit. Not my favorite in the area, but a good one to visit as you bar hop around.

Came in for taco Tuesday and a margarita at noon. The tacos were delicious and the drink was tasty. I can't comment on the atmosphere or bar vibe since we were the only ones there at 12 haha but, it hit the spot and they deserved the review. The waiter was also great and was rocking some killer quads, respek bro.
