The most important gallery in CA!
Very visually appealing but not enough rooms IMO. Great place if you wanna make a cool tiktok/take pics or videos but if that's not what you're into (or psychedelics) you could easily be done with appreciating the rooms in 10-15 minutes. a little over priced compared to the other pop ups I've been to that were similar considering there was a total of 6 rooms .

Wonderful space. I enjoyed the Blondell Cummings exhibit, which featured photographs and videos of her work.

Ok. But I lived through the 70's. So was not new.

Remarkable venue. Tremendous staff. Top knotch "edutainment." A repeat must-visit for families, art lovers, fine art fans and film buffs. Great, easy to access location.

A pretty significantly sized gallery in Leimert Park. Exhibit area is 2 rooms, but they also have another space they often use for workshops, lectures, events, etc.
They tend to show modern art, but they change it up. As of time of this review, it's near the end of an exhibit on the prison industrial complex and modern slavery, so they clearly do educational and conscious subjects too.
Definitely under the radar in a town with other great high profile spots like the broad, LACMA, moca, Getty center & Vila, etc etc etc. but this is definitely a spot worth checking out not just for the art, but also get some related educational programs.
