Quite simply there is nothing like it in California... the US... or possibly the world! The Barakat Gallery is essentially a museum where you can touch, smell, taste, and even buy the artifacts. Honestly, as an avid art appreciator and collector, who has been all over the globe, I know this is a very special place. History truly does come alive... with stunning ancient relics at every turn. Not only are the objects exquisite and of the highest caliber and craftsmanship, but the staff is attentive, considerate, and knowledgable. It makes the experience all the more gratifying. If you appreciate art, history, religion, mythology, archeology or just about anything else culture related this is a must see. You could spend an hour, a day, or a week in the Barakat Gallery and it would be well worth it!

First of all ... I love antiques and history. The A+ collection that Barakat carries is unlike any other. Purchasing a few items myself, I was astonished at what they carry. The professionalism by the staff, white glove treatment, and care is fantastic. This is not only a great place for your own personal gallery, but perfect for finding memorable gifts.
