Their staffs are rude and impolite to us and they are not focused on their job. They asked us pay $9 for gallery fee but they did not put up a sign. It’s ridiculous. There is a shop located aside. They overcharge on every items. It’s not worth it to go there. It will waste your time.
Me and my sisters visited his place to see what the hype is all about. We didn't have a reservation and heard that the line could be insanely long. We arrived at the museum at 10:30am and waited for 1 and half hours to get in. The entrance is free for walk ins.

This small museum hosts many unusual and interesting artists. Each gallery is just large enough to showcase the artist, but leave you interested enough to learn more about them. It's walking distance (1 block) to LACMA and the Tar Pits so you can easily make a full day of museums and stay in the area.
Staff was very friendly and the gift shop has an excellent selection of curated gifts including some great children's items.

I like the Craft Contemporary Museum because the exhibits after excellent and there's always something surprising and unique. On my most recent visit you I was amazed at the ingenuity and creativity of the African artists who used recycled materials to fashion amazing sculptures.

The current exhibit Nov. 2021 is marvelous. I esp. liked the 1st floor tribute , and was enthralled by the constructions on exhibit on the 3rd floor. Such originality and patience. Try to visit before it closes.

Small museum with great shows. The current glass show on the second floor is with seeing, and there are some great pieces in the Los Angeles artist show on the 3rd floor.

Have been here a few times. Last time for the blown glass exhibit. Wonderful viewing space, friendly staff, and nice gift shop. The nearest parking I found is across the street at the Page Museum.

Craft Contemporary is a gorgeous, yet underrated gem that might be overshadowed by its much larger museum neighbors, but the local art, artists, and staff makes this gallery a necessary visit for anyone who loves LA, art, and, especially, LA art ✨ ✨

I had a blast and I met some wonderful and friendly people also learning how to make a clay box. Eunice Lee our clay instructor was funny, supportive and friendly and this also includes her volunteers. I would definitely recommend this workshop ????

Nice and little museum only in name. Rich art and design. Worth the visit. (Just double dip here to the Page Museum and pay parking once.)
