Okay this is the first time we have come to the center and it was very nice! :-) we had balcony seating for the show and it was pretty good viewing! Parking is plentiful and they charge about $4 for 4 hours.

This is a great theater on the Cal State LA campus. Closed during Covid of course, but I've had the opportunity to see concerts and other events. Beautiful location. Parking structure is just out front amd you can see mountains on clear day- on this day they had snow on them!

I visited because of a CoViD test i scheduled through the city. they had great signs leading you to where you needed to be and it was well organized. the check in time was quick and the staff were very professional even though we came during their lunch hour and they told us they would be a bit backed up. i'd sign up and choose to return here for another CoViD test.

No art right now. Just Covid testing. Free parking. You'll have to stand in line, but probably won't have to wait as long in line as you would at Dodger Stadium.

Come here for covid testing. Appointments required and it's a very easy process. Always in and out within 10 mins

Great big, but yet intimate theater for professional events at very affordable prices.

I like open gathering area outside the center. The auditorium itself was comfortable, although it feels like the seats are getting old...they were a bit uncomfortable.

Good performing arts center in Los Angeles for small to medium level production. The theatre seats about 1000 people. Access to 2nd floor is through a big stairway from the lobby but elevator to the balcony level is at back and a little hard to find. Parking is right across from the theatre at CalStLA parking lot C; parking space is hard to find during school hours. The theatre seat is comfortable and most seats offer clear view to the stage. The stage crew are nice and easy work with. Defiantly recommend for both viewing and performing at this location.

Great shows and excellent seats in the balcony you get great audio. Amazing view of the mountains from the second floor.

Not only do they charge guests for parking, they only have two machines, in a three leveled parking structure, where you can pay to get the parking pass. Furthermore, one of the machines down on the bottom floor does not give change, so a four dollar fee can be 5, 10 or 20. Total scam for a place partially funded by the tax payers of California.

Very nice venue for Los Lonely boys concert. Really not a bad seat in the house. Good sound system and staff was very knowledgable. Parking is $4.00 in Lot C and very close! I'd recommend this venue for any concert!

Never again. Went to Luckman to attend the poorly sold Peking Acrobats and all the parking kiosks but one was out of order and the long line and confusion was ridiculous. We were told if you didn’t pay the $4 parking you would reveive a $60 ticket. The poor house manager called campus security to tell them about the parking pandemonium and they began waiving the parking. Too late for us. We were then told the performance was going to start a half hour late because of “last minute walk up ticket sales.” Seriously? Somebody is going to drive that far and deal with that parking to purchase a last minute ticket? We cut our losses and came home. Sad that the whole operation seems to be run very poorly and it is now on my “do not bother to attend” list.

Small theatre with good acoustics and friendly helpful staff. Located on the UCLA campus with easy freeway access. Parking nearby ($3 for 4 hours, $6 all day).

Excellent venue, frankly Luckman Fine Arts is far removed from Royce, certainly not comparable with respect to sound system, stage. Exceptional acoustics, great ambiance and very personable atmosphere.

The glitz and the glamour doesn't escape this college-bred theater, it has enough charm to make you feel as if you were at any high-end playhouse. Besides it state-of-the-art facilities, this place has a suitable parking structure close by. I didn't know what to expect since it was on a college campus but was pleasantly surprised!

The inside is massive boasting a seating capacity of 1,152 and a 48-foot wide proscenium, which makes any seat in the house optimal for viewing. I was fortunate enough to see the Nutcracker and had balcony seating. The view from up high was great and I was able to see each act effortlessly. The play was great especially because the cast members were so young and adorable. And the ballet was amazing some scores more moving than the other but overall really amazing work.

ONLY con is that they do charge same price for kids and adults. Also they allow small babies which did cry during the show but there was no urgency to escort the woman out. The baby cried for a good 5-8 mins before the woman left on her own accord.

Overall the Luckman is a beaut and a great venue for any play. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff, you really couldn't ask for more from a complex....well maybe a no baby rule.
