Last night I had the pleasure of feasting at Musso & Frank's of Hollywood. This is the oldest restaurant in Hollywood and I can see why it's lasted over 100 years. The food was absolutely to die for. I actually could not pick a favorite dish from the smorgasbord we ordered. My appetizer was a grilled portobello mushroom served on mascarpone soft polenta with mushroom jus. The polenta was delicious and soaked up all of the yummy mushroom jus. The rest of my meal included grenadine of beef with bearnaise sauce, veal schnitzel with prosciutto, arugula and parmigiano, truffled mac and cheese, lyonnaise potatoes, and fresh asparagus with hollandaise sauce. I was throughly impressed with each dish and can't wait to come back and try more! For dessert, a warm bread pudding with fruit and ice cream. The bread pudding reminded me more of a butter cake with its flavor and consistency. Not necessarily a bad thing since I love butter cake, but definitely not what you'd think of when you get bread pudding.

The best part of this place is hands down the dim sum selection. There’s a walk up window that builds a line in the afternoon, and a dine in area. The main restaurant food options are a bit less in quality than the dim sum, but like the dim sum are well worth the value. A short waiting time and friendly staff. Highly recommend as a good authentic Chinese food grab and go!

Delicious classics and many reinventions. The atmosphere is so regal and chic but not overly done. It is a true exception in San Francisco in terms of service and atmosphere. The food is good if not great and i would choose Jar for many good conversations with close friends to discuss life changes while having a meal deserving of the occasion

Food was okay. We all had the Filet Mignon with Shrimp. It was decent, but mine was a tad overcooked and over seasoned. Our server was good, but he had too many tables to manage. We ordered the Pineapple fried rice and it was brought to us without a serving spoon or cup/plates to eat from. I had to help myself from the serving station. The portions were small as well. That said you are paying for the atmosphere and the views which are great. It was worth visiting at least once.

This breakfast joint lives up to the billing. Great for brunch on the weekend but reservation is needed unless one is prepared to wait for a table. Service is speedy once seated and the menu is extensive if a bit pricey. If one's idea of a hearty breakfast includes seafood, The Coffee Company offers plenty of options.

I had the opportunity to eat a whole Sushi today. What wonderful food. Everything was very fresh, tasty, professionally prepared and pleasant. Chef Masa was excellent as were his colleagues. Nothing was less than excellent. I will return again and again. If you are looking for sushi in LA this is the place. Get ready to wait for a table, the sushi bar is great. But worth the wait. Enjoy.

Eh. Seafood gumbo was nothing but rice, 3 shrimp and hella soupy. Not even close to Louisiana cuisine. Cornbread hard and potato salad wasn’t very good. My first & last time here smh
