It was a great experience witnessing a little Japan in Los Angeles California. This place was decorated in a Japanese style and had many Asian food places. It looked great at night with beautiful and attractive lighting. I will surely go again there whenever I visit California specially Los Angeles.

The village plaza itself is alright, it has some Japanese stores to shop. But it’s quite small and too crowded.
The outside area of the village is a disaster, there are too many terrifying homeless shouting and yelling, and you must be really careful to not to get any close to there! ⚠️ I would not recommend this place if you want to take a walk and experience Japanese culture.

It's my second time visiting this place because of how much I liked it the first time that I visited a few years back. This plaza is full of adorable and beautifully crafted merchandise based on Japanese culture. Unfortunately, not all stores are open at the same time as some are closed on certain days; so be sure to check it out online before planning a trip here for a specific shop.

Fun little village. My oldest son enjoyed the pastries and boathouse boys had a blast looking for things in the stores that they generally have to order online only. Not my cup of tea, but the area was cool, festive for the Christmas season as well.

Super cute shopping area with a lot of japanophile stores. I had a lot of fun here and they have an authentic takoyaki spot that was pretty good. I also like shopping in the hobnob store. You must try the Japanese bakery too!!

Great place to walk around and experience the Japanese cuisine. This plaza has such lovely vibes that you get lost in the place. Be careful when you walk to the plaza - you gotto cross a lot of homeless people who have literally taken over the side walk including bus stations.

I always love shopping here. I can easily spend all day here. Parking garage on site, $10 dollars but can be validated at some of the restaurants and stores. I highly recommend for anyone in the area.

Totally worth going here. It's right in the middle of downtown LA near Union Station and Olvera St. A quick walk from Union Station. The surrounding area has a lot of homeless so I suggest going in the middle of the day. Lots of eateries and shops. They were only letting a finite number of people into most of the shops.
